    Our tour guide, Sandy, picked us up at our hotel. Her ability to speak clearly in English was wonderful. Our first stop after being picked up in Aix, was Avignon. Her knowledge as a guide was great. We toured the Popes Palace. I had been there some years ago without a guide and what a difference it makes. After lunch, she drove us to Pont Du Gard. What an amazing sight to see. We ended the day, at a vineyard in Chateaneuf du Pape, for a wine tasting. I know we were running late as the day got away from us, but she didn't seem to care. It was one of our best days on our vacation.
