Overview
Explore in and around the city of Peja in western Kosovo with this private sightseeing tour. Nice tour of the city of Peje & surrounding natural places. The guide was friendly and knew a lot about the city, history of Kosovo and the Balkans. It was interesting to talk with him. Recommend this tour.

East was a wonderful guide. Highly recommend him. We started the trip in pretty Peja, then we discovered Rugova, which is magnificent. Next week discovered the Sleeping beauty cave. East was a wonderful guide, we had a great time with him, he is knowledgeable and knows and loves showing people his country. Flm East.

Visar met us at the station. He was so well groomed and had a lovely fragrance too. He took us around town, stopped for a coffee, visited a museum then took us to the bazaar. What a selection of lovely items from clothing, tabacco, household items, carpets, gold and silver to mention a few. We then visited the monastery, beautiful surroundings. Headed to Rugova canyon and he walked us down to the canyon. Then headed towards Radac cave. During the walk to the cave you also stop near the White Drin waterfall. Visar took photos not only when we asked but he also offered. He then dropped us back to the station to get our bus back to Prisna. Visar is truly an asset to the company.

Private guide who spent much time sharing the history of Kosovo and Peja in particular as we walked through the city and during the drive through the mountains in his car. The views of the mountains and the waterfall were great, as were the painted walls of the monastery in the Patriachate of Pec, but what was more memorable was the chance to learn about life in this special place over a few hours. Am thankful to have come and taken this tour with Visar.

Market not open on Sunday, so didn't get that in our tour. Perhaps some cultural differences but guide was brusque to me and completely ignored my lovely, curious, kind friend due to race.

We have tens of tourists every day (white, brown/black), from every part of the world, of every race, religion or gender, and for cultural tours we offer the best and most informed guide from all over Kosovo, the reasons that Maybe your friend felt left behind, it could be because he didn't understand the English language well, since in this tour we offer it in English-there is no other reason!
(otherwise, our guide says that you thanked him a lot, you liked the tour a lot, and the tour lasted 1 hour longer than planned, he also helped you catch the bus and stopped the driver for 10 minutes waiting for you)

As a solo traveller it's not always easy to find good private tours, but this one I can highly recommend! Thank you to my guide Visar who took the time to show me around. He shares a lot of anecdotes about the history and culture of Kosovo in a perfect English. His knowledge about the region is immense. I had a really good time. We visited the Bazar of Peja and its cheese market, the Rugova Canyon, the white drin waterfalls, the Radacit Caves and the monastry patriarcat of Pec, a good mix of culture and nature. Unfortunately the ethnological museum and the Rugova Bridge were closed, but I didn't mind as there were so many other amazing things to discover! Top Balkan Tours also offers Hiking Tours.
