Pick-up was late (I was told 08:30–08:45 but wasn’t picked up until after 09:00). I was taken to a meeting point where the guide, Moses, said at 09:20 that we’d leave in 6–7 minutes. He then disappeared and didn’t return until 10:40. During this time, my messages to the tour company went unanswered. The delay was reportedly due to waiting for cruise pax to disembark.
Because of the late start, the tour was rushed and several advertised sites were skipped. Perhaps to compensate, the guide was shouting and laughing inappropriately loudly for most of the trip, telling trite jokes that even included glorification of drunk driving. When I expressed disappointment about the delayed departure, the guide said they were “doing me a favor” by taking me on the tour at all, since I wasn’t a cruise pax. The listing never mentioned that the tour was only for cruise pax.
To their credit, the company did agree to a small refund for the skipped sites.
Don’t book this tour when cruise ships are in port.

Before Moses left, he confirms that he told you he had to go and wait for other guests who were coming of the cruise ship. Whenever a guest came out from the ship, he took them to the bus and went back but our driver was with you in the bus so we don’t know why Moses had to wait when one of our rep was with you?

We responded to you all your messages via Viator’s extranet messaging center. We also offered to do the stops you missed on another day but you declined this offer and requested a refund which we gladly accepted.

We would like to clarify that our guide did not state that we were “doing you a favor.” What he meant to explain is that we normally require a minimum of two adults for the tour you booked. As there were also guests joining us from the cruise ship, this allowed the tour to go ahead and ensured that you were able to join as well.
We sincerely apologize if the explanation was misunderstood or came across differently than intended.
The tour you booked with us is designed for both cruise ship and hotel guests. We have successfully combined these groups in the past without any issues, and we sincerely apologize if you felt the tour was rushed. This is not the standard of service we strive to deliver. Please also note that this was the first occasion where we experienced a disembarkation delay of more than two hours.
Regarding the comment made by our guide, he was referring to the way our drivers navigate around potholes on the roads, which is a common necessity here to protect the suspension of our vehicles. All other guests in your tour bus understood this joke but sorry, if you misunderstood it.

DO NOT BOOK THIS TOUR. The whole thing is a scam, my driver was conducting private tours throughout the day of my tour, he only works for this company on the side. This meant i was left alone for over two and a half hours at lunch so he could drive back into town and conduct his own tours. I was only allowed 20 minutes at Eden on the River because we had to go and pick up his private guests, despite my protest that this was not long enough. I then spent my last hour driving round to different locations picking up and dropping off all of his other guests. Tried to complain online but got nothing from the company as they said i still fulfilled all the activities. Only book this if you want to feel like an unpaid taxi driver for the day. Shocking experience.

We have investigated below and confirm that our driver (William) is a full-time employee of Atmosphere and the vehicle used for your tour is an Atmosphere vehicle.
Normally, we should have cancelled your tour because the stops you visited required a minimum of 2 adults and your booking was only for 1 adult.
We had accepted your booking because we had another booking for this same tour, but that other booking cancelled late the previous night
However, since we had another half day tour option going to Blue Lagoon & Eden on the river, which stops were on the same route and included the 2 stops on your tour, we decided to go ahead with the tour.
Please note that we paid the extra entry fee to meet the minimum fee required, without charging you any extra fees.
When our driver dropped you off for lunch, he explained to you that he had to drop off the other two guests.
Please note that the drive to town and back is only 30mins each way and our driver confirmed that he returned just 1 hour later to pick you up but not 2.5 hours as you claim. One hour was sufficient to have lunch and relax.
We note that you had all our contact details, including our Whatsapp contact and our email address, but upon re-checking we can confirm that we never received a complaint via Whatsapp message or email.
The only message or email we received from you was on the morning of your tour requesting to know your pick up time.
We conduct our tours in a professional manner & through our many years of experience, and our guests are always kept abreast of the tour as it is being conducted.
However, may we apologize for any inconvenience you feel you may have endured.

We had Ana, the tourist guide from Atmosphere Tours, who seems to be a "substitute" for the day. She sat in the front seat of the minibus next to the driver. She talked to the front glass with an whispering voice without a loud speaker. All guests sitting at the back of bus could hardly hear what she was saying. No information on the country and/or places that we were going to visit.
The first stop was to visit a primary school but she didn't know that there was no school so there is no visit on Saturday. She only learned it after being told by the school staff after arriving!
We returned back to the bus and drove to BLUE LAGOON. Upon arriving, she told us to have a look of BLUE LAGOON for 15 minutes !!! We ask whether we can swim. Her replied incredibly "YES". We challenged her that 15 minutes was not enough for a swim. She then asking us back for how long do we need. Finally we agreed for one hour staying for a swim and exploring the Blue Lagoon.
The above confusion was just the beginning.... she has no idea of what were places of stop for the day ! After we told her that next stop should be "Eden on the River" as per Viator's itinerary that we showed her. Her reply was that she needs to call the company to confirm the itinerary of our tour ! What a joke this is!
After arriving "EDEN on the River", all guests stepped out of the bus and ANA told us we can go to swim for 15 minutes. We then asked which direction should we walk ? It seems to us that she has absolutely no idea of this place. She looked around and found one of the staff to ask and the staff pointed her to ticket selling area near the entrance. She arrived there before realized that she has to purchase entry tickets for all guest ! After more than 15 minutes confusion and finally she purchased tickets with instruction from the ticketing staff of which direction to walk. We then able to head off to the river and having a dip in one of water hole that the water was running fast with heavy turbulence.
After finished the next stop Duty free shopping, the bus driver drove uphill to the nearby suburb, turning into lots of side streets trying to locate the next stop for the "KAVA experience" but FAILED to find the place. After a short conversation between Ana and the driver, the driver dove back to Duty shop and stopped next to an outdoor stalls area that is located only about 20 meters diagonally opposite the Duty Free shop that we had just visited. Ana bought every guest a "shell of KAVA" to taste in one of the stalls here !
All in all, Ana, the tourist guide is a total disaster of this tour experience. I read a lot of good review of Atmosphere Tour by former guests. Unluckily we had a bad experience on this tour.
Although I hate to write a bad review but I have no choice this time since the experience of this tour was so bad.

The tour was very unorganised and our guide often seemed like they didn’t know where we were going, or what we were doing. I was Picked up on time, then waited 40 minutes in a car park for another bus. All the sights you see are good, but I think they tour could be run better, for example spending more than 15mins at Eden rather than 30mins at the duty free gift shop?

First thing we waited around the docks for approx 45 minutes for the tour group that was very unorganized. Once the tour started our day our tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining, however the whole day things kept shifting around due to high amount if tourist or not going to Eden river due to rain the night before. The meal that was served was just average at best. Over-all I didn't find the tour worth the price point.

Wow what a tour, go into your day curious and adventurous. We had a sensational tour.
Don't sit on the sidelines on this tour jump in swim under the waterfall. Jump into blue lagoon and be taken to a different time with a n authentic cultural tour that will out do any expectations you may have.

This tour was amazing. Loved every part of it.
The cultural tour was so informative and personal. The waterfalls were awesome and the fish feeding. The pools of water are very stunning.
The blue lagoon is a must on anyone’s list of things to do.
Overall I highly recommend this
Our guides were so laid back and happy to answer any questions.

Booked for 830am pick up and tour, no one there to greet me @ ship disembarkation, no signs, finally found a guy, bus not there, other passengers lost as well, didnt leave until 930am the last group, hence everywhere we went was packed, oh, cancelled the local village tour aparantly death or some excuse, Iam still waiting on refund. Everyone else had a amazing fruit platters and cold refreshments (our guys bought some last minute) and hot fresh lunch, we had the last of what was left over, dried out cold meats, little salad left really poor. The bus has very poor air conditioning, got really uncomfortable The only saving graces were the places we "eventually" went to were amazing, tour guide Niel tried his best, I should have negoitiated earlier with local cabbie and paid half the price + entry fees. I will never ever use Atmosphere again !!!

The tour they put me on was combined with another group with a different itinerary. I was told everything that I had paid to do wouldn’t be compromised, but I ended up only doing the cultural village, blue lagoon, and a beach. The waterfall that was promised in the tour was missed.

Thank you for your review.
We confirm that we had to put you in with the other group because both tours had the same stop except the cascade.
We could not take you to the Cascades because it had rained very heavily the day and night before your tour, so the river was swollen and thick with mud & silt from the run offs into the river. You would not have wanted to enter the water even if we had taken you there. (We showed everyone in the bus the river when we crossed it to go to the Blue Lagoon and on our way back the river was still dirty).
Please note that the heavy rain was an act of god and we have no control over it, but to make up for the cascade, we offered you a visit to Turtle beach + BBQ lunch.

After a very bad start, things improved significantly. We were scheduled for an 8:30 start and were waiting. When our pickup had not arrived by 09:30 I called them and had the impression they had forgotten about our booking. Eventually they arrived at 10:20 !!! After that however, all went very smoothly. Our driver/guide was very pleasant and we had an enjoyable day. It would pay to confirm the tour with the company itself and not only go on the confirming text sent by Viator.
