A perfect way to get an overview of the city of Piran. Jan was friendly and knowledgeable about the city. At the end of our tour we had tastings of local food and wine. Definitely recommend this tour!

Great tour! Jan was so informative and the little shop we did the tasting at was adorable. All of the products are all natural, healthy and best of all support the local community! Highly recommend! Make sure to eat before hand though since it’s more small bites and not meal size.

The tour consisted of a cursory history of Piran, sampling of local products - wine, olive oils, truffles, meets, cheese, and a brief walk up to the church and around the point. The righteousness of the guides’ restaurant referrals were validated.

The tour starts in Tartini square where tour guide tells you about the history of Piran and the buildings some of which is very interesting. The tour takes you to all important places in Piran including near the clock tower and fr0m there the surroundings. The information you would get is lot more than you would even with extended stay. The wine testing and food (?) testing is added bonus. No one minds couple of glasses of wine and few canopies to go with it while having interesting discussion on various topics. Overall a pleasant enjoyable experience.

Piran walking tour, ran by Yan , was a wonderful way to get to know Piran and its history. Being set during sunset and the food anx wind tasting at the end of the tour were certainly an added value. Yan was very knowledgable and professionaln with a good sense of humor. Highly recommend the tour!

Jan was great, absolute hospitality! He shared history, stories from the area, info on local life, recommendations while visiting Piran. Our tasting was incredible, with samplings from locally produced items typical of Istria. Highly recommend this tour when you arrive so you know the best spots!

The tour is good, but short and probably not worth the price. You're paying for the tasting. That being said, I'm not a big fan of wine, truffles, or olive oil, and I still thought everything was pretty good. So, if you're into that stuff, give it a try.

Was really amazing! Great tourguide, that had a lot to tell and a lot of personal stories to share to make the trip even more interesting. I won't lie but one of the best moments was the food and wine tasting, because it was amazing. We bought wine and olive oil to be able to relieve that experience. Also: it would be nice if the tour included a 5 minute-shopping-stay in the Salt shop, because they really had amazing products and we couldn't buy anything because the shop closed after the tour. But otherwise great experience!

We really enjoyed the walking tour with Jan. It was informative and interesting, and a great way to get acquainted with Piran. We had an 8:30 dinner reservation and Jan called the restaurant to let them know we’d be running a little late so we could enjoy the wine tasting and snack at the end, which was great!

La balade dans Piran avec les explications du guide était très bien. Ensuite il nous a amené dans sa propre boutique pour une dégustation de produits locaux, pour nous en vendre. Nous avons trouvé ça limite honnête, surtout au vu du prix de l’activité.
