The Sanctuary of Truth was one of the most inspiring places I visited in Pattaya. The craftsmanship is absolutely stunning — every inch carved with intention and detail. I went during the day, and it was peaceful, relaxing, and surprisingly not overwhelming or crowded. Later in the afternoon especially, the atmosphere felt calm and reflective. Our tour guide, Lenny, was amazing — extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history and symbolism. That made the experience much more meaningful. I’ve heard it’s even more beautiful at night, and I can believe it. A very inspiring and serene experience overall.
Awe inspiring architecture! Worth the money if you have a good tour guide! Our tour guide wasn't the greatest. Spoke very fast English, which made him difficult to understand. It was also the last tour of the day and he seemed to rush the group through the tour. We ended up drifting off from group and exploring on our own. Loved exploring the hand-made architecture! Avoid the end of day tours to ensure you get the full benefit of the guided tour.
Very informative tour. The Sanctuary of Truth was absolutely beautiful!! The tour gave an interesting look at beliefs.

Viator do not offer transporation with the ticket from your hotel, so we got a taxi using "Grab" which is like Uber in the UK.
Once you have exchanged your voucher for your ticket/wrist band, there is a 5-10 minute walk from the Ticket Area to the Sanctuary waiting area but if you are mobility issues, they will arrange for a buggy to take you.
At the Waiting Area, you have to walk down 67 steps, again a buggy is offered to people with mobility issues. If it is too hot, they also offer umbrellas to shade you from the sun whilst walking down to the Sanctuary.
At the actual structure, their is a lift to take you up and ramps available in most areas of the structure. There is also a lift on the opposite side to take you down. They will then arrange for a buggy to take you back to the Ticket Booth.
It is quiet dark inside, so bear this in mind if you have any issues with your eye sight as it might need time to adjust.
In this modern age of technology, it is amazing to see that there are still some very talented people who know how to build a structue using just wood and no nails.
There are other attractions if you wish to participate but we just did the Sanctuary.

The sanctuary of truth is nothing short of amazing. No nails,glue, screws. Everything hand carved. Nothing can prepare you for the scale of this structure. Think in terms of a stadium. The site is extremely accessible.

This place was definitely worth the visit. It was the 1st time I've ever witnessed a bldg built completely out wood. The details are amazing! This was something to remember for a lifetime.

Impressive building, very busy at most a couple of hours here for us was enough. One thing we didn't like seeing were the elephants being used for rides after visiting a sanctuary only a few days before.

This is a ticket for the museum of truth. Interesting museum. You have to take a tour so give yourself time because the only run at certain times

A MUST do in Pattaya. This is one of the most amazing places I’ve visited. The museum is breathtaking. The visit was very well organized and aside the Sanctuary there are many other activities to do there like elephant riding, boats, even restaurants and foot massage. Go for it!

The architecture is amazing and no nails. You can see workers actually working there while you are delivered with a safety helmet. The tour guide was great and with two of them to make sure you were not lost. The temple tells the humanitarian, family loyalty, kindness and compassion.
