The van driver is very on time and friendly. He picked me up at my hotel lobby. The staff in the Sanctuary are all nice. They help take a lot of photos for us. And the chief guide explained a lot of things about elephants. The bathrooms are very clean and also the lunch is tasty. I recommend this!

This is the most beautiful experience you will have . The elephants are so cared for and looked after . The caretakers are so gentle and you can see the respect between them and the elephants.

What an amazing experience. The team look after the elephants like family; it’s clear to see they are well looked after. Each elephant has its own handler to help create a bond. The morning was timed really well; didn’t feel rushed and had plenty of time with the elephants (doing what elephants love to do which is eat, mud and bathe!). Can highly recommend the morning session; yes it’s early but it’s less crowded and a much better experience. The hosts were excellent, giving lots of information about the elephants. The lunch provided afterwards was delicious. Remember to take a towel and a change of clothes because you absolutely need to get in the water with them!

This was by far the best thing we did in Thailand. It was wonderful to see the elephants, and also the staff was so great. I can not say enough good things about this experience, except that I'm glad I didn't miss it!!! Staff is very, very helpful talking about each elephant and their history. They will gladly take lots and lots of pictures for you - so you can just enjoy your experience. The lunch and snacks were very good!! Just a great time!!!!

Forget riding the elephants (which can be cruel to the animals). This was so much better! We were amazed at feeding the elephants, washing the elephants, hanging out with the elephants and patting their trunks, mixing up their vitamins, and just getting to know their personalities. This absolutely could not have been better. The guides are clearly passionate about the animals and their care, and about educating people about these massive but docile creatures. And a delicious lunch to boot. What a wonderful organization. This experience is not to be missed.

Great tour. The elephants were docile, friendly, and super pleasant. The bugs were as expected - intense. Mostly flies and fruit flies. I did not eat the lunch offered because the flies were ALL OVER the food. I recommend allowing participants to place their order when booking the tour, making the plates, and wrapping them in plastic until it is time to eat. I plan to do the tour again when I visit in a few months with a friend.

Great experience, door to door service with a driver provided by the sanctuary. Amazing time and only a half day!- we were back to our hotel by 11:30. Lots of interaction with the elephants. Perfect amount of time, and perfect experience.

Most importantly the elephants appear happy & well cared for. We fed them, bathed them and were able to take loads of nice photos without interfering with what the elephants wanted to do. When they’d had enough food, or were finished being washed, they just wandered off 😁 We also made some tie dye cloths and were provided with a nice lunch. Coffee and water were complimentary and a range of other cold drinks were available to buy very cheaply. Bring a change of clothes as you will get dirty. Basic shower facilities were available. Bring sunscreen, bug spray and a bit of local cash for the small shop. Overall would highly recommend.

Excellent experience with no animal abuse the elephants did exactly what they wanted the facility is clean with modern bathrooms for a clean up after the elephant bathing experience and the food good although 10am is a bit early for lunch! Pick up was great and on time and we were back round the pool at our hotel by 1230 great ethical experience with no hard sell or hawkers although quite expensive worth every penny

Wonderful experience and excellent value for money. We booked the AM slot and was picked up at 6:45am. On arrival we we were able to have the welcome hot and cold drinks with snacks as we waited for the other guests. The program starts at 0800 with a summary of the workings of the sanctuary by the guide as well as a background of the lives of elephants. There were approximately 25 guests with eight elephants who were brought out. All the elephants had handlers and looked very well looked after. The ratio of guests/elephants was very good and we were able to feed the elephants and take ample photos. Next up was the elephant washing in the mud pool and water area where guests could take part. Lunch was very early, about 10am, but was very tasty and unhurried - spring rolls, rice, curry, stir fry etc. Toilets and washing / shower facilities were. very clean. Last up was a demonstration of how to make paper out of elephant poo! The morning finished at about 10:45 where we were driven back to our hotel. A photographer accompanies the guests and takes photos which are uploaded to Facebook. If you don’t want to be photographed there is an option to opt out. Highly recommended and an excursion that we will definitely do again.

What a terrific experience. We were looking for a sanctuary that truly made the lives of the elephants the best. This was a caring and nurturing place to go. They picked us up early, and we spent the morning feeding, bathing, and communing with the elephants in a natural setting. The staff was excellent with both the elephants and the visitors. There was a lunch served, which was very tasty, and the toilets had showers for after the elephant bath. Note: if you do the elephant mud/bath part, bring a change of clothes and a towel, as you will most definitely get wet and muddy. That said, do partake in the elephant bath, as it is such a great way to spend time with these glorious creatures. All in all, a sensational day, with lots of great memories (and photos!).

Our small group enjoyed lots of time interacting with the elephants. It was amazing to feel their muscles and to feel them exhaling. The photographer captured some great shots of us feeding elephants, applying mud, and playing in the water. It was early for lunch, but they served some tasty food. They have a very nice facility. It was a great culmination to our visit to Thailand.
