Overview
Experience the adrenaline rush of skydiving without jumping out of an airplane on this free-fall flight inside a wind tunnel. Orlando’s iFLY is the premier indoor skydiving facility for all ages, providing two sessions of free-fall flight time (the equivalent of 2.5 freefall skydives). No experience necessary. A small-group training session with an accredited instructor, plus one-on-one guidance, required gear, and a certificate of flight achievement afterward are included. Must be at least three years of age or older and weigh less than 300lbs to participate.

Upon arrival at iFLY in Orlando, check in and head to the flight deck to watch other guests on their free-fall flights. Then, meet the flight instructor and head to the classroom for a short training session on the basics of indoor skydiving with up to 12 other guests. Learn what to expect as well as the hand signals that are used to communicate once inside the flight chamber.
Then it’s time to suit up. iFLY provides all the required skydiving equipment, minus the parachute.
Each guest then takes two turns inside the wind tunnel, flying on a wall-to-wall column of air gusting between 130 and 175 miles per hour—one at a time with the instructor’s assistance. Get a close-up view of everyone’s flight just outside the chamber, while learning and honing the necessary flight skills at the same time. The thrill of flying in this high-speed wind tunnel is an unforgettable sensation. At the end of the session, the instructor puts on an aerial performance of various air-assisted twists, turns and flips inside the tunnel.
Afterward, all flyers receive a signed certificate of achievement commemorating their first flight. iFLY also takes videos and photos of the flight, which are available for purchase along with shirts and other merchandise.

- Most travelers can participate
- If you have previous neck, back, heart, injuries or shoulder dislocations, are pregnant or wearing a hard cast - you will not be able to fly.
- In order to provide a safe experience for its customers and instructors, iFLY may not be able to accommodate flyers who weigh between 260-300 lbs and will not be able to accommodate flyers whose weight exceeds 300 lbs. Upon check in for flight reservations, additional evaluation by local staff will be required to determine if flyers between 260-300 lbs can be accommodated and whether additional restrictions may apply.
- Minimum age is 3 years
- Children under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign their waiver
- It is recommended that you wear well-fitting, lace-up sneakers or running shoes and comfortable clothes
- If you need to reschedule after your reservation is made please call the location directly. Modifications to reservation dates and times cannot be done any other way.

Q:How does the Orlando Indoor Skydiving Experience work?
A:A vertical wind tunnel has fans at the top to draw air through the flight chamber and then push it back down the sides. The air is then compressed & sped up before it reenters the flight chamber causing a smooth column of air that enables you to fly.

You only fly for 1 minute! I really expected it to be longer for how much they charge!!! $140 plus tax for 2 minutes of flying…. Ridiculous!!
The instructor was awesome - I give him a 10

Viator shows you 9:00, 9:30, 10:00 as the first times of the day. I selected the 9:30am time slot. I got to the location by UBER from my hotel and since the first time slot according to you was 9:00am and that time slot was available, I decided to get there at 8:41am. When I got to the location I wasn't allowed in until 10:00am because that was the opening time. I was left outside in the cold the whole time. Tip: adjust the ticket sales from 10am onwards because that is the opening time. Once it was my turn, the treatment and service was excellent. Highly recommended experience.

Crystal, we work hard to provide value to our customers, and we’re disappointed this didn’t shine through during your experience. Indoor skydiving is a unique experience and difficult to compare to other activities. Although 2 minutes doesn’t sound like a lot, the freefall portion of one outdoor skydive is about 45 seconds and our basic package comes with 2 x 60 second turns—equivalent to 2-3 skydives—for about half the price. We are happy to hear you enjoyed the experience overall and that our staff provided great customer service. Thank you for giving us a try and sharing your experience!

Great experience. Everything was provided that you needed to have a fun time. Even shoes if you forgot yours. Preflight instruction were easy to understand and simple enough that even an old fart can understand them. If you want to take your own photos you need to have someone outside the flight tube. The option to go up to the top of the tube is well worth the premium. Have an experience that’s a blast.

My son has autism and the staff was extraordinary with him. He wants to go back. We let him fly twice and he was able to go high in the tube and go.around it a couple times. Afterwards his senses were heightened and could not stop talking about it.

GATOR was awsome!!! (our flight instructor). We did the 2 flight package for $109 a person. The wife and I decided to do it she was scared at first and fell in love once she got In there flying. She actually did better then me I think. They offered us a upgrade for 2 more flights each additional with 1 video each and 2 pictures each off there site which you redem later at home for only an additional $140. Break that down that's only $70 a person more for all of that so great deal. FYI
flights are only 1 min long. We did that did not regret it. The 2 first flights helped get our barrings and we were good to go after that. We had a young group with children 6 to 5 yrs old they did it with no problem with only the 2 flight package. Everyone had fun. Highly recommend it. We bought another package at %53 discount for 6 flights at only $64.99 a person so when we travel to new York City Next Yr we doing it again. Special discount package only offered on the way out after flights are done, one time deal thing. We did it in Orlando but there packages never expire and we travel alot and they have tuns of locations. Thanks again Gator it was a blast! Oh yea ask for the high flight deal only additional $20 and the instructor flys up with you super high in the tube!!!
