We had the best experience with our tour guide Arisa in Okinawa! She shared so much about her culture and made the day feel incredibly personal and special. She customized the itinerary around our interests, was so sweet and patient the entire time, and introduced us to amazing local food for lunch and the best ice cream we’ve had on our trip. We learned so much, had such a fun day, and made memories we’ll always remember. Thank you for making our Okinawa trip so meaningful!

Erisa and Tio (Theo) met 4 of us at the cruise terminal. Not often do we get two guides. Erisa (Okinawan) was in training and spoke great English. Our senior guide was French (who spoke Japanese as well as English). We all got along very well and had a fun and rewarding day. Since I had lived in Okinawa for 3 years 53 years ago I had some unique alternative requests to what might be considered a typical itinerary. The girls wanted to shop for extra time and all our requests were happily met. The restaurant we went to for lunch was wonderful. Even though it was a bit rainy, we had a 5 Star day. Erisa and Theo were excellent! I highly recommend this company.

We’ve traveled quite a bit over the years and have had some great tour guides in different countries. Yui is one of the best tour guides we’ve had. She speaks American English like you ware speaking to someone back in the states and her Japanese is equally as great as a native speaker. What makes Yui special is the care and consideration she puts in to adjusting to your wants and needs. She is proactive in making an itinerary and adjusting accordingly. She is extremely knowledgeable of the area, super nice, and makes you feel like family! I’d highly recommend you request for Yui as your tour guide.

Yuki and Elisa welcomed my wife and I like we had known each other for years! We had an amazing day! We explored ocean park, botanical gardens, tried local soba and visited beautiful beaches. It was a really lovely day.

We didn’t know what to expect when booking a private tour of Okinawa but Yuki and Elisa both exceeded our expectations throughout the whole process. When Yuki first contacted me to set up the tour he asked for a general description of where we wanted to go. He pointed out a few things to help me revise our itinerary to make the day flow much better and spend enough quality time in each location. His suggestions helped us to plan a day that didn’t feel rushed and also allowed us to see a variety of sites. He met us promptly at our hotel with his assistant, Elisa, who also joined us on the tour. While Yuki drove, Elisa shared information about Okinawa and herself with us. Both Yuki and Elisa were so delightful, accommodating and fun to travel with. Both were fluent in English and seemed to really enjoy living in Okinawa. Yuki was also a great driver who kept within the speed limit and drove smoothly. They accompanied us to each of the sites and shared their knowledge with us as we walked through the Himeyuri Peace Museum, Okinawa Peace Memorial Park, Sefa Utaki and Senagajima Island. They treated us as if we were their guests and would share with us as we walked through each location. They even picked a perfect local spot for lunch where we were all able to order something to our liking. They were so kind that even though we were running a little late, they made sure to take us to Senagajima Island to get a few good photos and end our day with a nice memorable view. Elisa also surprised us and gave each of us a nicely wrapped goodie bag with some Okinawan treats for us to sample. What a thoughtful parting gift! I would highly recommend both Yuki and Elisa to anyone who is traveling to Okinawa in the future. Their customized tour was so much better than the bus tour we took the prior day because we got to visit all the sites we were interested in and we didn’t waste time picking up other customers. We all ended our day feeling that we learned a lot about Okinawa and had a greater appreciation for how much the people of Okinawa suffered through the war, and yet they were still so resilient. Thank you to Yuki and Elisa for being such excellent tour guides!

A great way to spend an "excursion day" ashore!
Wonderful tour guides covered a lot of territory without making it seem like a long drive. Met us at the dock, provided very good monologue enroute and excellent presentations at each site.
