- November- April is our rainseason and there is a chance of rain during the tour. You are unprotected from weather during the daytrip. Please prepare accordingly. And if a heavy rainstorm is expected, we might have to cancel the departure and you will be resheduled to another day.
- Although we usually see a few animals, this tour is NOT focused on seeing as many animals as possible. This tranquil canoe and walking excursion shows you the delta watersystem in a very authentic and relaxing way guided by local people living inside the delta.
- Not suitable for children below the age of 7.
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 20 travelers

Our guides were so nice and fun. They taught us so much and made us feel so comfortable. We got to see so many elephants, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, baboons, and even hippos! It was peaceful, relaxing, and exciting! Highly recommend!

An absolutely serene experience, which was closer to a meditation. Despite being told that we may not see any wildlife, we came across loads of animals, from giraffes to zebras to wildebeest to hippos. Shout-out to Morks, who was the best guide, sharing ample knowledge and humour. My only complaint is that this was quite an expensive tour, which was probably worth the money, yet we were still expected to tip our guides at the end. It makes me feel like the company is not distributing the money fairly to those who deserve it the most.

Our main concern is your safety. You traveled in rain season and we informed you well in advance that there is a high chance that your tour gets rained out and activities might be shorter than usual.
When it started raining during your tour, the guides decided to turn around and return to the canoe station.
In Botswana rain can quickly turn into a storm and having you stranded on an island or in the canoe in the middle of the delta in a storm is a high safety concern. We trust the guides decision to shorten the tour and return to the station.
We hope you keep the time that you spent in the delta in positive memories and that you enjoyed the Mokoro experience and also the time that you spent with our driver in the afternoon in Maun Town as alternative programm to the reduced hours in the Okavango.

A great way to finish my tire was to spend the day on the Okavango Delta being poles around in a canoe. It was very relaxing and the pace was just right after a hectic week. The guides weee knowledgeable and informative.

The driver Lee was on time picking up, on the way to the delta we saw lots of birds and animals. My guide Epi great poler and again saw birds, animals, and hippos ( not in the water) but in land. Lunch by Nandos but I was still hungry.

Awesome trip. Pickup was exactly on time and my poler (Emmanuel) was extremely competent. I felt that I was in safe hands with him and I learned a lot from him. The bush walk was also amazing and the lunch provided was very good.

The drive to the okavango delta was exhausting but a great experience. Staying in the mokoro and enjoing the nature of the okavango delta was the best! After that we enjoyed the walk through the bushes. Amazing tour! Thank you!

Nature is unpredictable and animal sightings are not guaranteed. During the activities included in this day trip (walking and canoe) we can obviously not cover a wide area such as you would during motorized activities (car and boat). This is why this tour is focused on the Okavango Delta, the landscape/nature and we clearly explain that this tour does not have wildlife-focus.
