In the morning you will drive 192 km in a safari game viewer vehicle on a tarred road with a professional guide to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park lying southeast of the Okavango Delta surrounded by the Kalahari Desert. The Makgadikgadi Pan is a salt pan situated in the middle of the dry savanna of north-eastern Botswana, and is one of the largest salt flats in the world.

This safari, commencing in Maun and ending in Kasane, provides guests with the opportunity to immerse themselves in the wilderness by staying in small, customized mobile camps in remote areas. Typically, a mobile camp consists of a central area serving as a dining area. Camp chairs are arranged around a fire-pit or beneath the shade of a tree. This is a comfortable non-participation private camping safari. In this safari, guests can fully relax without being involved in camp duties. A Mokoro day trip is a full-day excursion into the Delta. The Okavango Delta is the biggest inland delta and is also listed as one of the seven wonders of the world. You will be transferred to the mokoro station at Boro. Embark on this day trip and travel through the water channels using a dug-out canoe. This experience is very relaxing.

This community use this part of the delta for fishing, reed cutting and the harvesting of water lily bulbs. The mokoro is an integral part of these activities. This tour commences and ends in Maun. This activity is conducted by local mokoro community guides. Your qualified guide will take you in a mokoro (the traditional aquatic mode of transport, dugout canoe) through the water channels of the delta while you relax and enjoy listening to bird calls. You will also go for a guided bush walk on an island in the delta where you may encounter wildlife at ground level. The bird-life in the delta is spectacular. We offer an unique mokoro day tour as we always brief our clients a day before to make sure they understand and to wear necesary clothes .You will travel with our representative .Arriving at the mokoro station you will meet with the poolers of which one of them is your guide .We outsource this activity from the Community trust so that these people can earn a living . Exploring the waterways in a traditional dugout canoe (mokoro) is highly recommended and a truly unique experience. The day trip to Moremi is the quickest way to catch a glimpse of what this remarkable reserve has to offer when you do not have enough time to spend the night. Departing from Maun early in the morning, you will be picked up from your place of accommodation in Maun before heading to Moremi Game Reserve to explore the diversity of this scenic and wildlife-rich area. We will proceed to Black Pools and Xini Area. These areas are in the south western part of Moremi.
