This was a nice way to view the city from 15 stories up. We had a great sunny day and could see for miles. The stairs were not too bad but be mindful it does take an effort. Sitting inside the working clock tower, we watched a video projection on the walls. Overall a nice time.
The stairs could be a challenge but the effort is well worth it.
Great film inside the clock tower and expert commentary
Knowledgeable guide. Interesting tour with humour. Fabulous views of the city. Small group which was nice.
Excellent tour. Very interactive with AV displays. Fantastic views at the top. Be aware there is only a lift to 10th floor. 135 steps above that on a steep staircase, so anyone struggling with mobility issues will struggle.
We enjoyed the climb which is not difficult. The views are terrific. The middle part where you stop and view the clock from behind, see how it operates, and also view a movie on the back of the clocks is very clever and interesting to see. The only thing is the entrance location is not easy to find. There should be another stand or poster put up to show where the downstairs entrance to the building is. The personnel in the building did not even know where to direct us. luckily we called the number on an email I received and someone picked up after 2 tries.
Very informative, excellent panoramic views, building description boards, but the immersive digital display of Liverpools history inside the clock tower was my highlight, it was amazing. The story of the Liver Birds Bertie and Bella was also very well delivered. There is also an interative exhibition area and gift shop. If I had one small comment, I think the guide should were a microphone as it was quite hard to hear at times when people were in the exhibit area.
Well organised experiance. Interesting, (Well done to Josh). Spaced out with mini breaks going up between stair climbs with good hand supports. (Lift to 10th floor!). Plenty of times to take photos. Even on the hottest days... it was nice and fresh on top! Advisory - there are toilets in the reception area so make sure you go before your tour. Very good.
Easy to find, well organised, informative guide & lovely weather for the views from the top. Nice that the group I was in was quite small as felt like more of a personal experience
Nice tour with an interesting, friendly tour guide. Great views from the top. There is a projector show half way through the tour which we thought was amazing
It was very good with a very informative guide. However, the stairs can be very tricky, as there are 135 and are narrow and twisty. But they do tell you that in a short film before the start of the tour.
this was a brilliant experience from start to finish we were met by a young Lady she was very knownable and had amazing information on the history and of the building - very intertesting
Excellent tour quite a few steps but not as bad as some advertise. Learned things I didn’t know. Would recommend.
It’s really good
Steps are not. Bad at all
Just was very friendly and well informed
Some great views of s wonderful city
Really interesting guided tour up the Liver building and a great way to view the City. Although there is a spiral staircase most of the elevation is done via a lift, so it’s not an arduous climb for anyone with a reasonable level of fitness. The views at the top are amazing and our guide (Jamie?) was excellent. He was really knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about the building and its history.
This tour was excellent. Really enjoyable and very informative. Would highly recommend. A great way to see Liverpool.
Excellent experience. Very well organised with a most informative tour guide, who answered all questions very well, adding extra information to enhance our visit.
Highly recommend this tour. Very informative and enjoyed the whole experience. Well worth a hour of anyone’s life.
Amazing experience not to be missed.
So much history and tremendous views .
Guide was excellent, Jacob
Very interesting. Quite a few steps. Ellen the guide was friendly and informative. Well worth visiting.
This interesting and relaxing at the same time. Perfect guiding, like a feel-good-event.
I will go there again with friends.
This water cruise was very fun doesn’t even feel like it has been 50 minutes the time flies, I enjoyed seeing all sites and learning the history behind them, it was still enjoyable even though it was a wet rainy day
Great tour, the guide was so knowledgeable, definitely worth going along. A fabulous building to see and the history is fascinating.
Great experience, very interesting history. Our guide Carl was lovely, very knowledgeable and engaging. Beautiful views and photo opportunities throughout, would highly recommend.
Very well done. Great guide who was very informative and cheerful. We were doing the tour on the worst day for weather you could possibly have but still enjoyed it.
I thought I knew the Liver Building – turns out, I only knew it from the pavement. The 360 tour takes you straight into its feathers and stone, with a view so good it feels like the birds themselves are giving directions. History buffs get their fill of quirky facts, while everyone else just gawps at Liverpool spread out like a postcard. It’s equal parts architecture, storytelling, and “wow, I need a new phone wallpaper.” If you’ve ever wanted to see the city from a seagull’s perspective (minus the chips), this is your golden ticket. Unmissable, unforgettable, unbeatable.
Fabulous! Service desk was so welcoming and kind. Tour guide was A+ with a wealth of knowledge! Whole experience was great. Highly recommend.
Our guide was informative, entertaining & even though there are steps involved it's taken in manageable chunks & very worthwhile.
The clock tower virtual show is impressive & quite evocative. The story of Berte & Bella & their creator is both moving and sad.
Well worth it, would recommend.
Fabulous tour of the Royal Liver Building, knowledgeable guide, great being a tourist in my own City.
Awesome staff and really good information on the building and its history. The building is a fantastic place and more people need to understand its history.
Took my parents as part of their big birthday celebrations and we all loved it - the immersive video in the clock tower was so moving. The views of the city were incredible and there was so many facts to digest, we need to visit again. A must visit for tourists and residents alike!
