This tour was so insightful. If you are looking for a firsthand experience in a deep understanding of the slave trade history, I highly recommend this tour. It's also very beautiful for someone of the dispora to return for your ancestors left the continent for the Americas. It's a true honor to be in that space and experience and see for your own eyes what they endured prior to their journey. Each guide at the site is extremely knowledgeable and pofessional, pack water, wear comfortable shoes. You'll enjoy the boat ride to the point of no return and also the option of the bike ride down or if you prefer to walk down. The roads, if you're coming in from Lagos was a very safe, it was easy to navigate all the checkpoints highly recommend this tour as a must do. Our guides, Victoria and driver Ade,were absolutely incredible..

    Rite of Passage

This trip was a rite of passage for us. Deeply humbling and personal. I employ all African-Americans to make this journey at least once in their lifetime. Our guides were extremely knowledgeable of the history and significance of the "Point of No Return".
