Fantastic full day of snorkeling! Very small group (3 on my day) so you are not one of the teeming masses like on other tours. Everything is included and taken care of. You pay more, obviously, but I’m so glad I prioritized the experience over expense.

This is the best trip you will book! Lucky our guide was absolutely brilliant, we saw every kind of fish, coral, huge turtles, baby sharks, the food and drink on board is exceptional, the transfer service punctual!!! Spend a little extra and go for this tour rather than the ones with too many people … this is the second time I’ve done this trip!!! Fantastic!!!

We took this tour during a honeymoon stop in Koh Tao. Unfortunately, we didn’t have great weather so the program had to be adjusted and water was choppy/windy, but that wasn’t the main issue. Service was brusque and hurried, with no one bothering to adjust snorkel masks to our sizes, for example, and the main guide yelling at everyone that we were bad swimmers after letting us loose in deep open water. At times it was chaotic, and they let us choose whether or not to wear life jackets. At the first deep water stop we opted not to (we can swim and did not know how deep it was or how long we would be stopped) and it was brutal - both my husband and I had to return to the boat after several minutes of struggling to adjust our cheap masks while treading rough water. I tried to go to the lead guide (Mr. Too) to adjust my mask and he said that I lied about being a strong swimmer and then swam away from me. Later in the tour, I tried again with a life jacket and it totally changed the experience. Positives were that it was a nice smaller group size than other boats (just 14 people that day) and lunch was nice. Scenery is stunning, and I saw harmless reef sharks, a huge turtle, and many beautiful fish. Main con is the boat ladder - it is not only too short, but the metal is unprotected and has sharp edges. Several people in our group, including us, cut their hands and legs trying to climb back in. This seems like a quick fix and one the guide is clearly aware of so I hope it gets taken care of since it wasn’t pleasant to be bleeding on the boat. I’d recommend exploring other snorkel tour options.

With 10 people (all Family) we joined the snorkling trip. It was a great experience. Lovely people on board. Too is a great guy. He was our really nice guide in the water, just follow him and you can see everything there is to see, from baby shark to turtle. The sunset BBQ with mocktail and kayaking was the cherry on top!

We have been snorkelling in a few places and this was by far the worst snorkelling trip. The instructor we had wasn’t much of an instructor, provided 0 guidance and safety instruction. His name was Too. He insisted the group remained together in the water at all times and became very aggressive if this wasn’t the case. I am not that much of a confident snorkeller, I received 0 instruction and when I took a while to reach the group, Too was super aggressive about why I was a bit late. The snorkels were really cheap and kept letting water in so going a few metres underwater was not safe. When I first got a safety jacket, Too did not even help fit it on which was deeply concerning. The food was really bad, not fresh and we couldn’t eat it in fear it would make us sick. The trip also went on for a really long time and the group was exhausted by the end. I would not recommend this trip at all!

Got to see several seaturtles, a baby shark (50 cm) and a bigger shark (150 cm). And we also saw lots of colourfull fish. The food onboard was good🙂

This is the trip you wanna do if you don't want to go on a party boat. It was so so peaceful and the people onboard were so lovely as well as the crew. WORTH EVERY PENNY. So glad I didn't chose one of the cheaper ones. Loved, loved, loved this. And the beautiful drinks in the end was just a berry on top.

All of the crew members on board were super helpful and friendly,they couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a good time!
Our tourguide was very knowledgeable and had alot of experience in the water so we felt like we could trust him.
Lunch was really good too,there was so much food and a great selection.
We saw lots of different fish and coral.The highlight was seeing a baby shark and a huge turtle!
This is a must do if your in Koh Tao!

This trip is a little more expensive than the average snorkeling trip, but it’s the one you want. Everything is just a little bit better (meals, boat, safety, drinks) and the guides are friendly, attentive, and care about the coral. The snorkel spots are varied and quite good, no padding. Well planned and prepared really makes a difference. You’re out there for a full day, don’t travel halfway across the world at great expense to visit the water and then try to save twenty bucks on a lousy lazy day trip to see it.

I had an excellent time on this trip! I enjoyed getting out early and missing the crowds. Luckily there were only 2 other people on this booking so it was a small group. The food was really tasty and the guys on the boat were great. Highly recommend if you want to snorkel in multiple of the bays in one day.

One of the best snorkeling trips we’ve been on in Thailand! Small group setting, about 5+ hour snorkeling at 4+ locations, sea turtles, baby sharks, and plenty of fish. The food for lunch and dinner was delicious! The guides were super friendly and helpful, and made sure everyone was having a good time.

Should say experience required, no time to learn, that's ok as it was my issue. The staff were nice, worked with us even through rough weather. Be sure to rent flippers, too hard to keep up without. Overall good experience

Our guide, Khun Tun, was excellent. He clearly loved being out on the water and worked hard to help our small group see corals, turtles, and baby sharks. The entire crew provided good support for a memorable day on the water. Highly recommend.

Wasn’t the boat that is advertised. We got put on a smalll fishing boat instead.
No kayaks or paddle boards.
Not offered alcoholic drinks.
Your said 10am start but I was collected late and we waited until nearly 11am for them to get all the food and gear on the boat.

We had the best day with Royal Mariblue on our snorkelling tour around Koh Tao! The staff were lovely, always making sure our drinks were full and providing anti fog liquid for our snorkelling masks. The food was great and catered to different dietary needs. The boat was very comfortable and so nice as a small group. The snorkelling around Koh Tao was absolutely amazing and they bring you to a variety of different spots, some deep water, some shallow. There was the perfect amount of time at each stop, you never feel rushed or bored. My only advice would be to wear the highest SPF waterproof sunscreen you can find on your whole backside and reapply every time you get out of the water. We got horribly sunburnt with only reapplying one time after the first stop, bigggg mistake haha.

Wonderful trip with Royal Blue Marine. Best tour in town. We’ve done many tours in southern Thailand, and this is in top 3 for us. Small group 10-14 people compared to other tours that are packed with 20-40 people. Friendly crew who take great care of you. Great buffet lunch and sunset dinner with a mocktail icing on the cake. Saw baby sharks at Nang Yuan and beautiful turtles in shark bay and the sunset spot. Highly recommended!

We had a perfect day with Royal Mariblue on the magical turtle island! Chart and everyone looked after all the passengers very well. They made sure our trip was as fun and enjoyable as it can be. The fishing boat was comfortable and offers a far more intimate environment than those large boats. The food was awesome and plentiful. We were served drinks the whole day. Chart drove us to the incredible spot for sunset. We even received surprise photos and videos after the trip! Thank you for such beautiful memories.

One of the best snorkeling trips we've been on. The staff were absolutely amazing throughout the whole day, couldn't do anything more for you. Got to see some blacktips and turtles as well as other beautiful tropical fish. At the end we had some bbq for sunset, just such a great day plus there was only 12 people on a massive boat so not feeling like a sardine with hundreds on a boat at a time. Book up now, would easily do this again given more time!
