Disappointing Experience – Lacked Local Insight and Personalization

I was genuinely looking forward to the tour, but sadly, it fell short of expectations. From the start, the guide offered no explanation of the itinerary, leaving us in the dark about where we were headed or what we would be seeing. Instead of introducing the locations with context or interesting facts, the guide would simply ask if we had questions, which made it difficult to feel engaged or informed. The tour lasted five hours in sweltering 33-degree heat, and there were no planned rest stops. Considering the high temperature, it felt both uncomfortable and impractical to go so long without a break, and we were left physically exhausted by the end. Overall, the tour lacked organization and failed to deliver the "local" experience it advertised.

A wonderful day in Kaohsiung

Yu was most helpful, meeting us at the cruise port and bringing us to monkey mountain via the light rail. The Shoushan Nature Park is an enchanting experience. After visiting multiple tea houses at lookout points, Yu had us speaking Taiwanese…well, a handful of words anyway. Great cardio, medicinal teas, lots of laughter, and a delicious lunch at the bottom…a truly magical experience.

Enjoy nature in Kaohsiung!

Very nice tour to monkey mountain very nearby the city center, great views over the sea on the one side of the hill, and over the city of Koashiung. Take a deep breath and enjoy!
