The Great Zimbabwe is worth seeing and this trip, with Lesley was an excellent way to do that. It was about 4 hours drive each way, so it’s a long day but worth it.

A wonder of the world

If you're even considering going to Great Zimbabwe, do not hesitate. For me, being there was on par with seeing the Pyramids and other ancient wonders of human achievement. The tour operator was fantastic. Tinashe's enthusiasm for the site was clear and he made sure everything was smooth and comfortable, and was a great person to road trip with! The roads were in great condition, so it was a very easy trip from Harare. Just go!
