Towels for hire, remember to bring a wet bag for your clothes.
Staff were friendly, lockers were great. Slides were COLD! Remember not to wear your silver jewellery.

We visited in a group of 5 friends and enjoyed the various pools for a whole day. The health benefits were terrific and we thoroughly enjoyed lunch at the cafe as well as all the different pools

Although it was rainy and chilly, the water was warm, so it was enjoyable to play with the kids. The lazy river, however, felt a bit cold. The lockers are reasonably priced, but they are on the smaller side, which is something to keep in mind. On the positive side, there seemed to be plenty of space to leave belongings outside. After 4 p.m., the wait times for the slides became very short, allowing us to ride multiple times without much waiting. One downside was that some people did not follow the rules on the slides, and the lifeguards did not actively enforce them, which was disappointing from a safety perspective. Overall, though, it was a very satisfying experience.

We entered around 10:30 although there was a queue to get in the staff were great and very quick to process tickets bought on line. Very clean changing rooms handy spin dryer for swim ware. Lifeguards on patrol but not intrusive. The hot pools were brilliant set at different temperatures and the slides were great fun. We did not use the cafe you could hire towels but we had some from our motel so saved money on that. Over all well worth the entry fee.

When we booked we thought we were limited to only a 1 hour visit, but we stayed for 5 hours which was excellent!

Weekend is probably not the best time to go along as there is a lot of children climbing in and out of pools. Peace and quiet is shattered, also if it’s raining it gets very crowded in pools. We were lucky to have a snow flurry, which was beautiful. Towel hire is pricey and they are very thin. Showers are nice and hot and there is ample room in change rooms.

Lovely facility. Lots of different pools to choose from with a variety of temperatures. Changing facilities clean. Able to shower and dress before traveling on.

A great day out with a large number of pools from freshwater with slides and calm hot 38-40 degree sulphur pools. Easy check in and totally smoke free. Tea kiosk reasonably priced. Clean and spacious changing rooms and showers.

Fabulous hot mineral springs and water park activities for literally every age! The town is adorable, nestled in mountains with loads to do and great restaurants. One day was not enough!

Heaps of old people sitting in hot water pools on a hot day for 44$ per person . Waste of money and 10 minutes .

Just a heads up that we never sell more senior tickets than standard adult entry, not that it would matter if we did, we welcome people of all ages.
Tickets are actually $40, not $44 ($27 for seniors).
If you only spent 10 mins here, that's very poor value for money, had you spent 10 hours here (which people can over summer) it works out at $4 an hour :)

We had a wonderful time. The food at the Cafe was excellent with big portions, would next time share it.
Advice book online, we passed a long line and just walked in. Kids were entertained the whole day. What an experience.

Our family has really enjoyed the hot pools, particularly the aquatherapy pools with body massage and warm/ clean water. The thermal pools were great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The lockers/ changing rooms were clean and easy to use.
Highly recommended. Very family friendly service and environment.

Great after a long day of travel.
We came back for a 2nd relaxating treatment after our bungi jump and jet boat experience in Hanmer Springs.
There is a great spinner in teh changing rooms to spin all teh water out of your clothes... use it!

The big slides was sou fun! But in the afternoon too much children from school... Lunch was OK. It was so relaxing in thermal pool... Parents and children like it.

Absolutely loved the different hot pools and the 2 tube slides were so much fun. My favourite pools we're the ones with the cold waterfall feature. The lockers with wrist bands for lockers are a great idea.
The only reason for the one star off was the girl that was at the entrance when we first came in wasn't friendly or helpful.
But we will definitely be back.

Thank you for the wonderful review! We do heat the lazy river and lap pool to 28 degrees, but yes some do find they can be a bit chill on particularly cold days. Thank good ness we have another 20 heated thermal polls to keep you warm :)

llHanmet Springs provodes a lovely range of warn outdoors pools. Clean well maintained facility. Nice cafe/restaurant. Staff helpful and friendly.
