Great local guide kept us informed and entertained. Various stops at viewpoints on the way to pancake rocks, comfortable minibus, amazing afternoon tea included...would recommend.

This was a Highlight of our New Zealand experience! Linda picked us up at the Train station after the Trans Alpine ride and we were driven to the Pancake rocks. Anyone can do that but NO ONE shares her love of the land, people, flora and rocks like Linda! We fell in love with drizzling, Greymouth! Loved the pancake rocks- so unique that they will be in our Christmas card - and then she took us for "tea" at a local hotel - overlooking the ocean! Linda brought our experience alive for us! Thank you Linda for sharing your passion!

The Pancake Rocks are simply amazing and the beach area and short hikes are stunning. The Blow Holes were underwhelming due to the low tide when we visited, but we loved the tour regardless. Our guide, Helen, also had great dinner tips and guidance for getting to the Hokatika Airport the next day.

A wonderful tour to explore great nature and native forest. The walking track is short and easy. The driver/ guide is knowledgeable about the area surrounding and local history. Hence, I also got to know more about Greymouth from this tour, in addition of the great view of blowhole and pancake rocks. Thanks to the driver/ guide.

This was the perfect day trip from Greymouth before catching the TranzAlpine train. My tour operator, Bob, was very knowledgeable about the local surroundings and history, and added interesting personal accounts. In addition to the Pancake Rocks and Blowholes walk (which was stunning and fascinating in itself), Bob also took me on a tree walk to the Tasman Sea coast, stopping to describe the native flora in detail. Finally, he took me to a beach to collect small bits of greenstone and other stones and minerals that had been smoothed over by the waves. It's an amazing way to soak in New Zealand's natural beauty and power.
