Disappointing

I booked this trip specifically to see the sunset on the lake around the islets as recommended. Sadly the guide was distracted and seemed upset that it was an in English tour he complained about it in Spanish to the captain. I knew enough Spanish to understand what he was saying. He was also upset on the phone and was arguing and yelling at someone on the phone The total time on the boat itself was about an hour and half and I was back at my hostel before 6 pm. Did not see the sunset at all. Asked the guide if there was anywhere I could walk to see the sunset he ignored me and just asked if I like the tour or not. We stopped on one of the islands beamed me get a coconut I told him I don’t like them and I didn’t want to waste it but he made me get one anyway. The coconut water was just spilling all over me. I don’t know what to do with the coconut itself. Sad and disappointed. Be careful when booking. I think it’s better to wait until you get to Nicaragua to book when you are here.

We felt there was no better place to be than floating around just after dawn with our guide pointing out exotic birds, monkeys and features of the isletas. We loved it and think it is a must-do for any visitor.
