Excellent cycling tour from a very friendly team at Chameera cycling, who also arranged all the stops and payments throughout the tour so it was interesting but relaxed. Beautiful scenery and a nice refreshment stop too - would highly recommend the morning tour for wildlife (& weather)!

Great experience with our guide Chattu. He knew all about the local plants and animals. Lovely scenic bike ride around the local streets and mangroves. Easy ride.
Fab to see water monitor lizards and the giant bats.
Stopped at the local handloom factory and coconut coir workshop. Which was very informative. There is a shop selling the handmade clothes which are quite expensive and the follow you around. Don't think they were happy we didn't buy anything.

A great morning with my guide Chathu who was very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna, pointing out plants, birds and creatures along the way. The scheduled stops were interesting too and worth doing. I lived the coconut stall and the fruit and cakes served. Delicious.

Had a great time. The guide showed us around many places and and explained things a good details. We got to see factories up close - how they work to make rope from coconut shells as well as a place weaving textiles. Seeing great views along a river and a quick stop in a temple. The business owner helped us out in the end to get back to our hotel with a driver he knew, as Uber and pick me drivers in the area don't like to drive one way away from that particular area. So be mindful that you'll need a driver both ways if you don't have your own means of transport. The shop itself is a minute walk back from the address stated on Google but you're looking for a cycle shop and you'll be fine.

We did not start at 2.30pm but at 4.00pm because it was very hot day. However, we enjoyed cycling the village with our guide. The Village was indeed very clean. Cycled along the padi field, blue lagoon, coconut husk rope factory, stop-by to have King coconut. We recommend this tour but do it in the morning session.

We had a fantastic tour and I would highly recommended it. You don't need to be a good cyclist to enjoy the tour. Our guide was fantastic and the stops along the way are all worth a visit. We had been in Sri Lanka for 3 weeks and the tour was a definite highlight.
