Great experience, Galapagos is an island paradise! Guides were fantastic. People in Ecuador are generally kind, friendly and helpful. The currency of Ecuador is US dollars, you don't need to convert your cash. Tip: Bring ample cash, especially 10s, 5s, and ones. Many of the businesses on Isabella are cash only. And you need cash to get around (buses, water taxis, etc). I would suggest having at least $80 per day available. The snorkeling (4 different excursions) and wildlife were amazing. Food is great and very reasonably priced. Last tip - on Galapagos you are truly off the grid. Save your pictures for when you get back, text with words only is about all you have. I actually enjoyed being untethered from the digital world for a while!
