Itinerary

After pickup from your Foz do Iguaçu hotel, head into Iguaçu National Park with your local guide for this half-day sightseeing trip.

Enter Iguaçu National Park to see what are arguably the best views of the tremendous Devil's Throat waterfall. Watch as 14 falls drop 350 feet (107 meters) over a precipice with impressive, thunderous force. Be sure to bring your foul weather gear to protect you from the 100-foot (30-meter) cloud of mist that is suspended permanently overhead. This cloud is host to a steady rainbow, so get ready to snap lots of photos.

Prepare to be impressed by these falls, which are taller than Niagara and twice as wide. During the rainy season from November to March, water can flow over these falls at 450,000 cubic feet (12,750 cubic meters) per second. Trek through the forest to the bottom of Salto Floriano For an up-close view of the falls. After admiring that view, ride the park's elevator to the top of the falls, or meander out over the falls at Salto Union.

End your day's adventure with drop-off back at your hotel in Foz do Iguaçu.

This 8 hour tour included both the Argentine side and Brazil side of the falls. I strongly recommend doing both sides. The Argentine side shows the immensity of the falls while the Brazil side shows the power and volume of the water going over the falls. Roberto, our guide was very knowledgeable about the falls, Flora and fauna. Also, he listened carefully, answered all questions, and worked hard to ensure we had the best experience possible. He and the driver worked very well as a team. I highly recommend this tour and Roberto

Foz de Iguazu from the Brazilian side.A moderate level of activity in hot and humid conditions

beryl_C, Mar 2026
An amazing trip which exceeded expectations. A small group of 10 travel together to the falls. The trail through the forest was down hill all the way but you needed to be able to negotiate steps. The falls were beyond belief. The whole trail gave tremendous views of the falls.A bonus at the end was the elevator back to the top.

Both sides are great but different

Clive_H, Oct 2023
I wondered whether it would really be worth doing both sides of the Iguaza falls. Surely one side is enough! No. Both sides are worth doing for different reasons. Our guide said that Argentina is the stage and Brazil is the show. I thinks that’s right. So do both.

A great tour to see Iguazu Falls. The tour guide Ms.Silvana was great and informative. She was always there to assist us in everything we needed. And when you finally get to see the falls I recommend to do the WET boat tour in order to really enjoy the experience of the falls. Adrenaline rush! A must do!

I recommend to choose another tour agency , this one is very unprofessional . They didn't pick me from location and after my call they came took me to the bus station and I had to proceed with the tour alone , also because they ignored my calls and whats app msgs I had to take a taxi back to hotel.

Iguassu falls are more beautiful...

Thida M, Oct 2017
Iguassu falls are more beautiful than Niagara falls in my opinion. For me the most beautiful of all the waterfalls I have seen. Very green and lush and the panoramic view is absolutely outstanding. You really have to look at the falls from both Argentina side and Brazil side to understand the magnitude of it. Bird Park could be added, but all of the passengers on the bus including me already had visited so we all went back to hotel and took it as true half day tour. I was the only English speaking tourist there and all were Brazilian, but the guide could speak good English. Luckily there was one young man, Ivan, who could speak English very well and wanted to practice with me, so we were buddy for the trip. Warning to English speaking folks: it is not easy to find someone who speaks English in Brazil...be ready to use body language. On the side of Viator's performance, you guys mixed up my hotel pick up spot for another tour The Argentina side. For this trip I called ahead so I was able to rearrange the pick up spot.

The falls are amazing and a must for inclusion on everyone's bucket list. I have given only 4 stars as the views are even better from the Argentina side!

TERRY_M, Apr 2017
This was probably the most disappointing of all our South American tours. Our guide spoke extensively in Spanish and then at the end, would offer a single sentence in English. We felt we were missing a lot. At the Falls walkway, were were basically dropped off, but were clearly told where to meet and when at least. There was no commentary along the 1hr. plus walk. Once we left, he offered us the chance to stop at the Bird Aviary on the way back to the hotel promising us to get back by 2:30. The Bird Sanctuary was worth the added expense, but when it was time to leave, he kept delaying as he wanted the others to get pictures taken, etc...Kickback?? We finally insisted on leaving and he begrudgingly made a separate trip to get us back to our nearby hotel. We arrived 30 minutes later than he'd promised, and we were concerned as we had transportation coming for our flight that evening to Rio de Janiero. It all worked out, but it was not what we'd expected from the tour.

HaingLy_K, Mar 2017
Tour guide was too rush and she's seems disinterested in explaining the tour and only interested in getting people on the tour boat and some others places like bird park after the tour itinerary ends. Not sure if she wants to make extra money or what!!! Could be better off arranging own transport

Dont go to Brazilian side and if you dont take the boat you have to wait 2 hours. Guide was not good, let us alone in the tour, did not explain anything, and forced me to take the boat tour or bird park tour.

Shotaro_N, Nov 2016
Great tour, tour guide was basically hands off and let us do our own thing, it ended up being mostly transport translation. I actually prefer that to an overbearing guide... Great falls experience. If you have the time, do the closeup boat tour of the falls too! Just bring a change of clothes...

Great tour on the Brazil side with great tour guide that picked us up at our hotel. This one of the seven wonders of the world is a site to see. I'm glad we did the Brazil side because the Brazil side had more platforms in the park to stand on and a lot more falls to see. Highly recommend.

Anthony M, Apr 2016
We had problems confirming our reservation with the local tour operator who for some unknown reason asked us to contact there office in Buenos Aires. Their Rio de Janeiro office did not keep their promise to send us a mail and on phoning them we could not get hold of anyone who spoke English. We need to know at what time we would be collected. The matter was finally resolved. In fact Viator had sub-contracted the trip to their local tour operator who in turn sub-contracted this to another company. The so-called guides two girls gave no explanations regarding the park i.e. history, flora and fauna etc. simply acting as shepherdesses. Nothing to do with our visit the following day on the Argentinian side where our guide was a true professional. the visit was livened up when a snake suddenly appeared beside the path but we didn't receive any information as to it's identity except from a local person who described it as may peligroso

Got to see all the amazing falls in a panorama view. Also got to stand in the middle of the great falls next to the devil's throat and feel the water rain down on you. This wasn't a guided tour. We got picked up at our hostel and they dropped us of at the site. Walked alone and got picked up later.

Complete waste of money. This tour...

Ciara M, Jan 2016
Complete waste of money. This tour is really just a transfer to and from the falls and we waited an hour to be picked up and we were only 5 mins from the falls so really really wasn't worth it for us. Once you get to the falls you have to join the regular queue to buy your entry tickets. Aside from transfers to and from the park all that you get in your tour is transport around the park in their van and the guide telling you which direction to walk, that's it. You get little or no info about the park, well in English you don't anyway, guide mostly spoke Portuguese. You don't need the transport around the park because transport is included in the price of your entry ticket, and the park is well sign posted and you have a good map so you definitely don't need the guide to tell you when to turn right or left. The tour does not finish by 1pm as it says on the website, we didn't get back to our hotel until about 5pm. The only way you might get back earlier is if no one in your group wanted to do the boat trip which I highly recommend but even then you still wouldn't be done by 1. Save yourself time and money and get a taxi to the falls because you have to pay for everything else when you get there anyway.

Siva, Jan 2016
We were picked at our hotel at 8 am . Thanks to our tour guide Daniel Antonio for suggesting the Boat trip, otherwise we would have missed a must enjoy attraction at the Brazilian side of the Falls. The boat trip consisted of 3 parts , first a short ride on the tram to avoid pollution to the forest it is powered by solar electricity during which time the guide explained the highlights of the National park, then a walk on the trail you can skip this and directly join at the boat station leading to the boat station for about 15 minutes and finally the terrific ride in the speed boats for about 30 minutes in Iguazu river towards the Brazilian side of the falls. There were lockers and change rooms just before the ride. Be prepared to get drenched as the boat goes right the the falls. It was an exciting at the same time a safe ride. The crew took videos and photos during the ride and you can buy it. Overall the boat trip takes about 2 hours and is a not to be missed attractions at Iguazu. We were back near the Visitors center by 12.30 pm. In the afternoon we proceeded with our walking tour of the Brazilian side of the Falls. It was a self guided tour going to different view points to look at the Falls . One can see the Brazilian side closely and even Argentinian side at a distance. While the Argentinian walking tour provided views from the top of the falls, the Brazilian tour is enjoying the view from the bottom in most points though at a couple of observation decks you get the top view as well. The tour ended by 3.30 pm and we were in our hotel by 4.30 pm. Between the two sides of the Falls Argentinian side is no doubt a longer one with closer view from the top but I am not sure if it is worth spending reciprocity fee of USD 160 just for one visit as the views from Brazil side are equally stunning though a bit shorter and mostly from bottom of the Falls. If I

Isabelle M, Nov 2015
Although the site was superb, the logistics, promise of an english speaking tour guide, promise of hotel return time and overall organization were extremely poor. For instance, when booking, the advertising and confirmation contract said english speaking guide: there was no english speaking guide who picked me up in a small bus, a second guide was in the large bus and gave some information, but her english was limited. Both guides were nice, but communication was difficult also, they gave many description, educational information in portuguese but none in english. Bottom line this was false advertising and breach of contract. The advertising also said tour length 4-5 hours, when i was called to confirm pick up time, i asked about return time and was told that it would be no later than 1 pm with pick up at 8 am. I had an important meeting at 2 pm at the hotel but returned at 3pm including a 20 min stop so that the driver could pick up a t-shirt at his home!!!!!! Again false advertising and breach of contract. Overall, i would NOT recommend this service to anyone. The guides were very nice and tried to help but their limited english made is suboptimal.

Its really not worth that money! If You are party with more than one people, take a taxi, it will be more easy, comfortable and cheaper than this tour. We finished trails at 11:30, but bus departed only after one and half hour, so we overheated while shortened time.

Jessica K, Oct 2015
The falls are BEAUTIFUL! I highly recommend going, but if you chose the English Speaking tour, this is really not worth the money. You have to pay an entrance to the park either way, and the busses in the park to get you from stop to stop are free with your entrance. Our tour guide went on and on for 20/30 min in Portugues, then gave us about a 5 minute wrap up in English who knows what we missed. Some people from the tour did the boat tour also not included but worth doing... but you can do this on your own. When it was time to get off for the walking part, our tour guide told my friend an I to just go and a time and place to meet us... as he continued to explain a lot by the map in Portugues. We did the park one day on our own and got just as much out of it.... SAVE YOUR MONEY! You can just take a cab or ask your hotel for a transfer to the park, it will be WAY cheaper than paying for the tour and you get the same things except you can go on your own time.
