Super fun! The extended version actually lasted six hours and it was a great time. Oliver was knowledgeable and helpful, a great guide. Highly recommend!
This tour was fantastic from start to finish. It offered a perfect mix of sea kayaking, visiting beautiful beaches, snorkeling over the Sunken City and a short walking visit to the Little Theatre of Epidaurus. We even had the unforgettable experience of swimming with a sea turtle. The fresh fruit snacks and traditional lunch provided were delicious and made the day feel even more special. Our guide Oliver was knowledgeable, fun and incredibly helpful throughout the experience. A truly memorable adventure and highly recommended.
I would like to thank Alex for his honesty and respect to safety and guest comfort. Unfortunately the winds were from the North which would have made kayaking a challenge. He offered multiple alternatives, refund or walking tour and snorkeling with the sunken city. We chose the walking and snorkeling. He took us on a nice hike to the theatre in which his knowledge and enthusiasm was evident. We then saw a beautiful Greek Orthodox Church and view of an active volcano. Finished with the swimming and snorkeling over the ancient sunken city and light snacks and fresh fruit by the sea. I would recommend this excursion and hope to visit again! The port city is beautiful!
It is suitable for a variety of skill levels and physical abilities. Alex, our guide was very helpful, knowledgeable and truly cares about the area. We paddled along the peaceful clear blue sea. We saw multiple sea turtles, had great conversation, and learned about mythology and history of the area. They were even able to accommodate my 75 year old mother. We were sore afterwards, but would go again!

Oh wow. A must do and see. Our guides were more than just friendly. They were knowledgeable, curious, and told wonderful tales about every site we visited. Time passed like nothing as I was immersed in the experience. If you’re a lover of history, a lover of nature, a lover of exploration, you’ll for right in.
Guides were incredible, very knowledgeable and kind. We traveled as a family with two kids (7 and 11). It was our 7 year olds favorite thing that we did this entire trip. Highly recommend!
If I could give this 10 out of 5 stars I would!!! This was hands down the highlight of our trip to Greece. Dimitra at PanExpeditions was SO helpful with logistics, booking taxis for us so we didn’t have to navigate public transpo to the meetup location, and being generally so communicative and kind! Our tour guide Luka was incredible, so knowledgeable about the history of the area, a great hang, and he brought snacks! Snorkeling over ancient ruins was indescribably cool. I will never forget this day!!

It was great. We did a lot of kayaking, snorkelling over the sunken city was wonderful, a walk through the town very informative (little ampitheatre that was unearthed recently plus the origins of medicine), lunch and morning tea were delicious and then we swam with turtles. A fantastic day.
Sea kayaking is very different from lake kayaking. It takes a while to get used to. Our guide, Oscar, was very calming and reassuring. The walk to the theater ruins was easy and Oscar was thoughtful in teaching about Ancient Greek civilization. We then kayaked over to the Sunken City area and snorkled seeing what Oscar had described along with seeing sea urchins and fish. This was followed by a snack of fruit salad and homemade orange cake along the shore and an enjoyable chat with Oscar and then returning to our starting point. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you can get Oscar as your guide.
Absolutely amazing experience with two very lovely guides, Oscar and Ty. We were blessed with good weather and a sighting of two sea turtles! We also really enjoyed the site specific knowledge of our guides and the delicious lunch!
This tour delivers what it promises, and more. We had a fantastic day with our guide, Oscar. It was very relaxing. The kayaking was at a very comfortable pace, with lots of opportunities to enjoy the experience. We were fortunate to swim with a number of sea turtles. Delicious home made food was also provided. Everything was thought of- waterproof camera/GoPro, plenty of drinking water, waterproof bags to store belongings in. We would never have found these experiences on our own. Thank you.
Alex was a wonderful, friendly tour guide as well as staff. Kayaks were well maintained and in excellent condition. We took the extended tour (highly recommend) which included a delicious homemade traditional dish. Great day!

This is definitely the best tour/experience we've ever been on! The 2 guides were super friendly right from when we arrived to when we left. We kayaked to the underwater ruins that were amazing to see. The guide provided an underwater camera for everyone to share and use, and he sent us the pictures afterward for no additional cost. We also saw other ruins on the way while kayaking. We were provided delicious fruit and cake as snacks, and then kayaked to another beach to have a very yummy home made lunch and to enjoy the beautiful water. Our guide even showed us how to cut open and eat a sea urchin, and my kids actually tasted it! We also saw an octopus up close and a few sea turtles and lots of fish. We would definitely do this again next time we're in Greece.
Great combination of kayaking, snorkeling and discovering history. Especially talking with the guides and the others was super fun. The organisation was very clear, the material especially the underwater cameras were super useful. We didn‘t have to worry about anything and enjoyed the trip tremendously! Can only recommend!
This adventure was the best part of our first trip to Greece in September! The interesting historical narrative provided by the guide painted a better understanding of the amazing ancient ruins. it is awe-inspiring to swim over the remaining walls and pots rather than looking at them in a museum behind glass. Alex turned the stop at the beach into a thrill by finding sea turtles, and we watched them feed on the sea grass just below us. For those concerned about the energy needed to participate, our group's ages ranged from 26-60 with minimal past kayaking and mask experience and only moderately active. We were all able to paddle the distance and snorkel without difficulty.

Great day to be on the water with our guide Alex. Easy peddling for all ages, I'm almost 68. Short hike to some local ruins, snorkeling to see the Ancient Sunken City and mom's home cooked lunch made for a fun day. We had calm waters and no wind.
Our family had a very good time exploring this beautiful coastline by kayak. Alex is a great host and guide; he was attentive to the different skill levels in the group and kept the conversation lively and engaging. There are three paddling segments in the first tour- perhaps 20-30 minutes each. We found it relaxing and scenic with just enough challenge. All the boats are doubles so it’s easy to make progress.
The walk to the small theater was very short, great view and interesting discussions about the role of theater in Ancient Greece. Snorkeling at the ruins was a nice swim, we stayed in for maybe 30-40 minutes. Alex provided a lovely snack of fruit and a delicious cake.
If you take this tour, I would advise you to bring water shoes or Chaco-type sandals for the walking and snorkeling part of the adventure. It is certainly possible to snorkel without shoes, but the sea urchins abound in the rocky areas where the ruins are, so it’s nicer if you don’t need to worry about that and can concentrate on the fish and the building.
Overall, we came home happy and tired with lots of great memories of the beautiful sea and historic places. Thank you, Alex!!!

Our kayak trip with Alex was fantastic. He emailed us before the trip and made it very easy to find the location. The trip began with a brief kayaking tutorial, and then, away we went. The views were amazing! Alex is very knowledgeable about Greece, and he was able to tell us about history as well as make recommendations for things to do. The snorkeling offered a different way to experience ancient ruins, and the final beach stop was tranquil. The food which was prepared by Alex and his mom was very good and much appreciated. With so many things to do in Greece, it is hard to choose, but we are so happy that we chose this tour and got to spend the day with Alex.
Alex was a great guide! He allowed us to go at our own pace while showing us amazing archaeological ruins and wildlife around the coastline. He prepared a delicious snack and meal! We even happen to get a show of the fishing boats pulling in their catch! Thank you Alex!
