A bit more simple info about the meet-up point.
we went to the castle only to be told we had to walk back 1/4 mile to the visitor cemtra and wait outside it

James was an absolutely fantastic tour guide at Conwy Castle. He was incredibly knowledgeable and explained the history in such an engaging and easy-to-follow way, which really brought the castle to life. He was also so kind, welcoming, and genuinely lovely, making the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. Unfortunately, the Castle was closed so we could touch the wall but couldn't go inside! However, we were offered a walking tour of the lovely town of Conwy which included a history of the castle. Led by the incredibly knowledgable Ruby, we learnt so much about Conwy including Edward I, Llewellyn the Great and Mam Cymru. We didn't meet any Jackdaws (if you know you know) but we had a wonderul time. Thoroughly recommend this tour for a whistestop tour of a very pretty and town.

Well researched by a former history teacher, I managed to do 2 of his walks and was very impressed; he also does the Ghost 👻 walk if you have time.
Unfortunately I didn’t, but I would like to do it when I return @ some point.
