Wow, the cruise itself - the ship, the crew, the food, the knowledge was great BUT having the VIP room was amazing. Indi looked after us with snacks, drinks and some fun chats. She took us into the first reef for a private guided snorkel and that put me at ease being at the reef. We also did the submerged glass boat and that was super cool. Indi guided this tour and provided a lot of info as she is a marine biologist and diver it gave us a unique perspective. We were in great hands with Captain Tom and crew - super safe. Would have loved to do the helicopter but unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate. BOOK this vip tour, you will love it. Also the description is a bit off - the room holds 8 - you do not share with other people - just that it holds up to 8 people in your group.

Absolutely incredible!!! The Captain and crew provided excellent customer service. We selected the gold package and Indi was our concierge for the day. She was remarkable. She took care of us with regard to the gold lounge as well as being our guide for snorkeling and the guide for the semi submersible. She was knowledgeable and professional. We felt very safe with her and the crew. Highly recommend tour!

A wonderful experience and I would highly recommend the Gold Class upgrade. The catamaran holds around 130 people but the VIP treatment means you get your own private air conditioned room away from the crowd to relax in complete privacy. Soft sofas, well-stocked fridge, coffee machine and a tv to use. The staff make sure you skip the queues for everything and are superb. We enjoyed a private marine tour with Taylah and she was so friendly and knowledgable.
Food was great - it’s the same as the rest of the guests receive but again the staff make sure you get the fresh cooked steaks. They even brought up some cheesecakes for afternoon tea on the way home for us. We couldn’t have hoped for better treatment and it really made our day so special.

This experience was absolutely incredible. The staff and crew were fantastic to work with. The snorkel spots were also top notch. If you are going on this excursion, do yourself a favor and book the VIP experience. It's not much more and you get true VIP treatment, plus your own little sanctuary away from the crowds making it a very personal experience. HIGHLY recommend. Ash and Phil get extra kudos here too.

This is hands down the best snorkel tour I have done. The guides we were setup with were Eddie and Sammy and they made the experience so wonderful. This was just a great day overall and the VIP treatment was everything I could have wanted. They tended to your every need while out on the reef.

This was a truly special experience that was worth the extra money to have the Gold Coast Lounge to ourselves. We felt welcomed and safe. My husband isn't a strong swimmer but Sammy gave us a one on one tour which helped him feel more comfortable. My on gripe is they had us leave the second reef 30 minutes earlier than they said they would.

Worth every cent for the gold class experience. Fantastic service and the snorkel tour was amazing. Eddie and Phil Junior were brilliant- made our day extra special.
The two snorkelling sites were the best I’ve ever seen. Like swimming in an aquarium!

We were greeted and treated like VIP for the entire day. Starting with Eddie’s professionalism and humor to get us checked in and settled. Sammie who graduated from UW where we were from was a bonus. Her hospitality and help throughout the day made this a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend going on this adventure. The VIP package was well worth it. You can book the room for up to eight people.

This was a well done day of snorkeling, loved the glass bottom boat. The crew was very friendly and extremely helpful. Sammy and Eddie were great! We got the VIP package and it was nice to have a separate room, but as a heads up, it wasn’t quite as nice as the picture indicated.

The VIP experience included hotel pick-up and they were on time to get us. At the pier we were greeted by very nice staff. The boat ride was perfect and snorkeling the Great Barrier Reef is a must. Recommend 100%.

Had a great time underwater on this trip.
Kiki and Ruth were great navigators underwater and Sammi was an excellent host in the cabin.
Food was good and the marine life were out in full force.

Had an incredible time on the boat in this tucked away room. We got to start snorkeling first and saw a huge wrasse, turtle and octopus.
Both snorkel sites were incredible.
Sammi and Rach were fantastic!

Had an amazing time on this tour! We were treated so well, from a timely pick up to being greeted at the dock and a lovely private cabin! Everyone was so nice and of course, the reef was absolutely stunning!

When we booked this tour we thought from the photos that it was a private yacht that took only 8 passengers. It was misleading that way. As it turned out, it was a private VIP lounge on a catamaran that can accommodate about 130 passengers. But we got great treatment as the "VIP" passengers, including a private briefing from the marine biologist and a cabin attendant who constantly made sure we had everything we wanted. For the dive and snorkel experiences we were part of the larger group. The instructors were excellent, as was the marine biologist who took us on the snorkeling part.
I would definitely recommend this tour operator, but it would be nice to know what you are booking if you book the Gold Class VIP trip. If you can afford the extra, I would go with that. It would be especially nice if you had your own small group of 8 or less in the VIP lounge with you.

This was a wonderful way to do a Great Barrier Dive Cruise. Sammy was our hostess and guided us throughout the day. Phil, the Captain did a wonderful job. We opted for a semi submersible tour at one reef. Phil got us close to the coral and Sammy gave insightful information both on the semisubmersible and a guided snorkel tour ( both included with the Gold Service) Lunch was great. Large selection. Drinks included! Great day all around.

My partner had a great time in Goldclass! Highly recommend if you want to see the great barrier reef and have your own private room to relax in. We got our own mini fridge with drinks, alcohol from the bar, mini cupcakes, cheesecake and cheese with crackers on the way back as well as the main lunch for the day which included prawns, fish and salads. We visited 2 reef locations which were both really cool. All the staff were very friendly, thank you Imogen our marine biologist tour guide and all the staff for looking after us, it was super fun! :)
