Itinerary
Depart your central Cairns or Northern Beaches hotel by air-conditioned bus and venture into rural North Queensland. Composed of highlands, tropical rainforests, and waterfalls, this pristine region is renowned for its beauty and ancient culture.
Visit the Babinda Boulders, a tropical creek lined with huge boulders, and hear about local aboriginal legends. Then head to your first swim spot, Josephine Falls, and slide down the natural rock slide.
Continue to the Atherton Tablelands and swim in the Millaa Millaa Falls. Bordered by protected rainforest, this 59-foot (18-meter) single-drop waterfall has featured in several TV ads.
After visiting a creek to search for platypus, enjoy another swim and a sunset stop at Lake Eacham, famous for its turtles.
Finally, return to Cairns, with your trip ending at the original starting point.

The destinations were great. The driver was great. The food was great. The van was great. The time in the van was not really clear when we signed up. It was a great experience but just need to know that you will be driving for several hours each way.

The tour was wonderful, despite the rain! The rain forest was amazing, and all of the waterfalls were beautiful. The only drawback was the pickup…we were told to be ready at 7:00 a.m. but were not picked up until 8:00 a.m., and no communication about tardiness.

Our tour guide Cheryl was extremely hospitable, friendly, and displayed a depth of knowledge and sensitivity towards Cairns' wildlife, culture, and history. We felt that time was used to its fullest and that we were able to cover a lot of ground and do a good range of activities in just one day. I was so glad to get the mix of culture and history with the talk at the Cathedral Fig tree, as well as the fun and thrill at the different waterfalls. The size of the group wasn't too big either, which worked well for us. Thanks to Cheryl and Cairns Adventure Group, we've made memories that we'll remember for a long time.

We had a great day. Our tour guide Michael was amazing he was very kind, helping, funny, and inclusive (he was also a great photographer too). One of the best tour guides I’ve ever had .We would definitely recommend the tour and the tour guide. I went there with my husband and my 10 year old daughter and my daughter had an amazing experience so I would definitely recommend bringing your family along.

My tour was so much fun, our group was small, but full of lovely people from all around the world: Canada, Poland, Ireland, Spain, Japan. And our guide was awesome told us very interesting stories, let us enjoy the waterfalls, took amazing pictures.
The lunch was great! I don’t eat much so I left part of my wrap, but I loved it! Fresh and tasty.
I would recommend everyone to carry anti motion sickness medicine because the path is full of curves.

Very nice day out, there is a nice stop at an unbelievably impressive tree, and a number of swimming opportunities to swinging beautiful locations ..
Plenty of rain forest, surprisingly few animals on view.

Wonderful day spent seeing the waterfalls and the rainforest. Our guide was outstanding which only added to the enjoyment of the day. Unfortunately it was too chilly of a day for me to get into the water but that didn’t stop others in our group from doing so.

A disappointing tour with a 25 year old American bus driver tour guide Christina who had limitited knowledge about the Atherton Tablelands There was very little commentary The tour was rushed The experience at The Curtain fig tree was the best part with 2 young indigenous men with a display of Aboriginal artefacts one played the didgeridoo and explained some history The wet weather didn't help however it could have been more bearable it the tour company provided umbrellas or raincoats I suggest employ people who know the area and are capable of providing interesting facts I usually don't give bad reviews however I feel the need to inform this company that they should try to employ suitable people for their tours I always book through Viator this is the first time I have been disappointed

Dan's the man in this wonderful day out. Lovely small group of strangers who ended up supporting each other getting in and out of the swimming opportunities and taking photos for each other.
Beautiful scenary on the 5 billion (felt like it) switchbacks, glorious, safe places to swim.
Lovely lunch, quick pit stops with cake and cookies and even an impromptu pie shop stop.
Dan was an excellent host and guide.
Pick up from hotel on time and we could hear good comms between all the drivers and base at the start of the day as they went about pick ups or advising of traffic to avoid.
A quality day out - totally recommended.

A huge highlight of our amazing day was our guide, Dan. His passion and expertise were clear, and he made the trip both fun and incredibly insightful. We felt completely safe in his care. We had a fantastic day exploring a variety of waterfalls and swimming spots throughout the Tablelands. Despite the weather not being ideal for swimming, we still had the chance to take a dip at several scenic locations, with Milla Milla Falls being a definite highlight. Our guide John was incredibly knowledgeable, sharing great insights into the local towns and businesses along the way. The day was well-paced and full, with a tasty lunch provided. Just be prepared for some winding mountain roads if you're prone to motion sickness.

Great experience and great guide. Chandan was very helpful, answered all questions and made sure we saw as much as possible. We had the rare experience of seeing a tree kangaroo which was great. Josephine Falls and swimming in the pool and sliding on the rock slides was the highlight.
