Imagine meeting up with the very man (Amir Temur) who had once invaded our country, and yet we are left in effusive praise of his valour and statesmanship!!!!
Such was our experience with our guide MARI, who hand held us along the glorious highway of Uzbekistan history and its many places of pride in Bukhara! She was generously knowledgeable, as well as gentle with our ignorance. She introduced us not only with the great conqueror Temur, but also the jester-philosopher Mollah Naseeruddin, and we loved them all!

I loved this tour and highly recommend it. Maqsuda, the guide was wonderful. She was impressively knowledgeable and adapted easily to what areas I was most interested in (it was only her and I, which was awesome). When I asked, she also taught me things about current culture and society which was an added bonus. I had a great time and recommend this tour.
