Shaxnoza is a very intelligent and comprehensive tour guide. She was a captivating story teller, who passionately shared about her honey worm, Bukhara, in an engaging way. We would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bukhara.

Today we enjoyed an excellent tour of Bukhara. Our guide led us on a walk through the old city's main monuments, madrassas, and mosques. She taught us about Bukhara's history and its key developments across ancient and modern times. Part of the city is currently undergoing renovation, and I believe it captures the essence of the Silk Road era perfectly.

Sittora is a very knowledgeable guide. She is friendly. It was enjoyable to learn different stories from her and the history of Bukhara. The tour is about half a day - 8:00 to 1:30. None of the entrance fees are included for costed sites. When it says admission included, it is a free site. It is also a walking tour - no car or driver involved. The price paid for the tour is incredibly high. I had a similar tour in Samarkand for $30 and had to pay the entrance fees. In Tashkent, I had an even longer tour (all day) with lunch and all entrance fees included for a slightly higher price.

Our local guide, Shaxnoza, picked us up at our hotel and was super nice since the beginning. We took a taxi to the city center and from there we started our walking tour around the most iconic places in Bukhara. Shaxnoza is very knowledgeable about the city’s history and its importance in the Silk Road. We visited around 10-12 important landmarks, she showed us around the old Jewish quarter and a synagogue from the XVI century. We also visited the merchant domes, along with their caravan sarai, madrasah and mosque and we were able to picture how things worked back then. We were also taken to a few artisan workshops for local crafts such as metal carving, carpet weaving, minature painting, etc. She also took us to a market and recomendé n other things to see and places to eat in the city. We loved our day with her.

Wonderful and detailed historic private tour of the Old City. Guide was knowledgeable about every facet of Uzbek history and culture. Made the experience visiting the city so much more meaningful really hearing about the background of the buildings and the various empires and conquests. Well worth the money.

We are a group of two young adults from the Philippines who visited Bukhara with our senior parents. We have travelled to more than 80 countries and Mrs Shahnoza is easily in our top 5 of tour guides ever. We appreciated how she struck a great balance between going at a relaxed pace yet provided us with lots of important information. Her English was excellent, and she had a very friendly demeanour. We did not feel pressured at all, unlike tour guides in some other countries who coerced us into buying from tourist trap shops or to leave them a review. There was a bit of confusion at the start about how many guests were booked into the tour, but I assume this was a simple administrative error.

My guide Nargiz met me promptly at the indicated spot. She was knowledgeable about everything we saw and her English was excellent. We covered all the indicated attractions. At the end of the tour, we were some little distance away from the starting point, and she paid for a tuk-tuk to take us back. Great experience!

Shehnaz was a wonderful guide. She was very knowledgeable and extremely accomodating. Our train got delayed, and hence we had to postpone the tour by one hour. She adjusted to the time change and we were still able to cover all places in the itinerary without rushing. In fact, we visited Ismail Samani mausoleum which was not part of the trip. Very highly recommended.

The guide, Behrouza, was there to pick me at the exact time requested. She knew her city and its history in great detail. She even new a bit of Indian history!
It was a fun filled day that I will never forget. Behrouza's English was great and since I was the only client she personalised the pace to accomodate my walking problem.
Behrouza deserves 6 out of 5 stars!

Shahnoza is a wonderful tour guide, knowledgable, interesting and very pleasant personality. In fact, she is also great at taking pictures :)
Only complaint can be to a travel agent that did not communicate to the guide that we changed the tour time from 10 to 11am, resulting in the guide having to wait for us at the hotel for 40 minutes.

A very knowledgeable guide who also allowed me to go at my own pace. Since I have had spinal surgery, it's not easy for me to move fast especially up and down stairs. The guide Shaherzat was very understanding about this and made the tour very pleasant for me. Bukhara is full of magic.
