I booked a private tour with Sindu based on the reviews. Unfortunately the night before I was informed there would be another passenger. When I queried this I was offered another guide. After my day I would have to say that Armuna is not a guide but a driver - basically he parked at each location and told us to take our time and he would be there when we got back. He never came with us, provided any information on each place or was there to take any photos. Considering we had booked a private tour this was very disappointing. I informed Sindu who was apologetic but it does not allow my Ella experience to be done again. Apart from the driver/guide, it is a great day and the stops are great to see - Unfortunately, i just feel we missed the 'full' experience.

Our day in Ella was unforgettable! We started at the stunning Nine Arches Bridge, followed by a short scenic train ride through the hills — peaceful and picturesque.
A gentle hike up Little Adam’s Peak gave us incredible views, then we got our adrenaline fix with the Rawana Zipline. We ended the day at the beautiful **Rawana Waterfall** — the perfect cool-down.
Our guide was fantastic — punctual, friendly, and full of local knowledge. He even took some amazing photos of us throughout the day and kindly shared them later via WhatsApp. Plus, the traditional Sri Lankan snacks he provided were a lovely, authentic touch.
Highly recommend this experience — a perfect mix of nature, adventure, and warm hospitality!
