Our host, Charles, was excellent. Very knowledgeable and took us to some great wineries. Also, a wonderful platter lunch!
Response from Host, May 2026
Great wines, good food, and a relaxed day out in the Barossa always make a good combination. I enjoyed showing you a few of the boutique cellar doors and sharing some of the stories behind the region along the way. I’m glad the platter lunch and wineries hit the mark.

We had a great day out with Charles. He was very informative regarding both wine making and the history past and present of the Barossa. We visited some boutique wineries and were able to speak with local winemakers giving us a great insight. We would highly recommend this tour.
Response from Host, May 2026
It was a pleasure spending the day with you both in the Barossa Valley. After a few colder days on the motorbike, I’m glad the wineries, local stories, and relaxed pace made for such an enjoyable break from the riding. Meeting winemakers and spending time at the boutique cellar doors is one of the best ways to experience the Barossa, and I’m pleased that side of the day stood out for you.

Thank you, Shane. It was great spending the day with you both in the Barossa Valley. Local pickup really does make for a more relaxed wine tour, and I’m glad that worked well for you. I enjoyed sharing a mix of wineries and a few local stories along the way.

Charles was a fantastic host and tour guide, he was very knowledgeable and knew his way around. Platter lunch at Atze’s was fantastic. Wine tasting was great and well organised with the wineries.

We travelled with Charles today, and had an awesome experience. Not only did he have an extensive knowledge of the history of the area, but had a great sense of humour. We got to experience well known wineries as well as small producers in the wine industry. We were very impressed with the wines we tasted as well as the stories behind the producers. Our lunch at Atzes was yummy. We would highly recommend this tour.

Thank you, John. It was great spending the day with you exploring the Barossa Valley. The boutique wineries are one of the real highlights of the region, and I’m glad you enjoyed discovering a few of them along with the stories and history of the valley. I appreciate the kind words and enjoyed your company throughout the day.

Had a great time with Charles who took us to some fantastic wineries, great wine and great people/personalities - lots of laughs!
Response from Host, Mar 2026
Thank you, Paul. It was a pleasure hosting your group in the Barossa Valley and helping celebrate a 25th wedding anniversary in such a great setting. The Barossa is full of wonderful cellar doors and colourful characters, so I’m glad the wineries, wines, and a few laughs made the day memorable. It was great company throughout
