Tour guide Ajee Vogel gave us a fantastic tour of the ancient city of Anuradhapura today. Ajee Vogel is a very knowledgeable person who could tell us a lot about Sri Lanka and Anuradhapura's exciting history and the Buddhist philosophy and way of life. On our 6 hour tour we saw the most important historical sites in the ancient city and were offered tea/coffee and delicious traditional Sri Lankan snacks.
A day we will always remember.

We visited both the new and the old parts of Anuradhapura, and it was truly impressive. If you want a guide who can tell you everything about Buddhism, this is the tour you should take. It was absolutely amazing, highly recommended!

Het is echt veel leuker om de stupa’s, tempels en opgravingen te bekijken als je de geschiedenis erbij krijgt. We waren echt blij met onze gids. Hij nam ons mee langs alle belangrijke bouwwerken en kon goed uitleggen. Zijn Engels is goed en hij is echt super aardig. Wij kunnen Vogel tours (zo noemt hij zich, het is slechts 1 persoon) echt aanraden.
