This is demanding hike with numerous steps to get to Castle Rock. Participants should be in good shape. The last part of the climb requires upper body strength and flexibility. The views are worth it upon reaching the top.

The views are worth the hike and the climb. Nature trail, stone steps, exposed roots and rocks; and that's before the scramble through the chasm! Spectacular vistas to the ocean and hinterland are the reward. Thanks for the review.

We have a tour on very rainy day and it ruin all our excitement 😟despite rainy day our tour guide she was really good explained each details while hiking …We couldn’t see view from the granite skywalk because of rain we were all wet didn’t expect rain to come forget to take raincoat tooo 😒I recommend everyone to book this tour on good sunny days at least you can enjoy your tour

Thanks for noting that on rainy days we can get wet on this tour in the natural environment. Thanks for the recommendation.

Well worth the climb to see the view, but it isn't an easy climb

You need to be fit for this one, but it is well worth the climb. There is roughly 2 km? uphill walking on a good track, then you reach the area of the lower look out for spectacular views for those who don't want the extra climb. If you want more there is a relatively difficult climb over large boulders, with expert assistance from our guide Michelle as to where to put our hands and feet we all managed it. Then there is the firemans ladder climb up to the top which is fairly easy. Once you have done that the views from the top are amazing. We are a couple in our late 60's and managed it but I wouldn't call it easy.

Stunning view on the Skywalk.

A great hike with an excellent guide. Such a beautiful view on the top of the mountain. Bring plenty of water as it is up hill for 2 k's. Very well engineered skywalk. You need some fitness to make it all the way to the top.

Some fitness and flexibility along with determination! Fabulous that you made it to the top.

The view from the skywalk, the walk through the forest and the very nice lunch and chat with our guide afterwards.

Our Tour Guides enjoy leading guests through the pristine bushland of the Porongurup Range.

Takes your breath away

Once you have negotiated the walk up, the view is fantastic. Our day wasn’t as clear but I was told that you can see as far as William Bay national park.

Response from Host, Jan 2023

The weather conditions do hold the key to the extent of the view. Well done on getting to the top!

Superb
