My daughter and I had an amazing experience snorkeling with turtles and all tropical fishes we loved the whole day, the glass bottom boat gave us another incredible view of the reef and learning about Lady Musgrave Island was fascinating and we are so glad this is a protected marine sanctuary. The crew were all so connected and it was really evident they all loved sharing this magical part of Australia with everyone.

Fantastic. Well organized. Friendly personnel
Impressive experience.
Enough time for all the activities. May only recommendation would be probably to come back earlier to avoid navigation at night although we don't have any problem.

First let me say we loved the snorkelling and saw lots of turtles, fish and coral. The staff were really lovely too although unfortunately there were a few negatives. We had originally booked to go on a Friday although due to not having enough people they cancelled the cruise for Friday and I was told we would either be going on Sat or Sun. We had specifically gone to Agnes/1770 to go snorkelling to see turtles and were only staying 3 nights. I had booked another tour for the Saturday and we were leaving Sunday am. Luckily I was able to swap my Sat tour to Fri when they chose Sat as the day the boat would go out. I was pretty worried for a couple of days that our trip would be for nothing though so keep in mind when booking this tour when they say they reserve the right to cancel due to low numbers or bad weather.
The boat is a bit tired looking but that's not the end of the world. The food was very simple but fresh.
They say it's 90 minutes to Lady Musgrave although it was definitely very close to 2 hours each way so take something to do to entertain yourself on the boat. If you have children who are too young to take sea sick tablets then I wouldn't recommend going. All the small children on the boat were lined up down the back being sick for most of the way out, and they told us we were lucky that it was a calm day. My daughter gets seasick so I gave her a tablet and she still had to go outside for the last hour on the way out.
We were taken on a guided walk through Lady Musgrave and the guide was very knowledgable although another thing to think about whether your kids are old enough is that we saw quite a few dead birds or birds that were in the process of dying. It's all part of mother nature but it might be a little confronting for some small children.
So in summary there were definitely good and bad parts but we will never forget swimming with the turtles.

We enjoyed the boat ride to Lady Musgrave. The staff were very helpful, the snorkeling was fun, and the walk on the island was interesting and enjoyable. Thank you for a fun day!

We saw a big turtle during the snorkeling and many Anemones with blue striped clownfishes. The island was pretty and the deckcrew were great. Always there to help with anything and very attentive.
