This is a great way to visit Monaco in a day. Ferry is operated by the same crew and boat for the Mediterranean sight seeing tour. The crew is courteous with top notch service and makes the trip fun, providing sight seeing commentary on the cruise to Monaco and back.
I'd do this as a day trip only. Once in Monaco, you are self-guided, with about 6 1/2 hours (1015-1645) to visit Monaco.
The return trip departs a little after the table games open up at Monte Carlo. Best to take the train or stay in Monaco if you're looking to gamble a longer time.
Otherwise outstanding for seeing the sights.
Excellent trip, definitely the best way to Monaco & Monte Carlo. It drops you off at a different harbour but it’s only a shortish walk into Monaco. We made our way back with plenty of time to spare and be sure to sit in the restaurant where the boat dropped you off. They allow you to have drinks only if you want & are very friendly. The commentary on the return journey is excellent as they point out the homes of the rich & famous. Great day out.
The ferry was fine. It was just a ferry ride going there and on the way back they told us about the celebrity houses. The crew was nice. They were late to the pickup by about 30 minutes which put us in a major time crunch for other activities we had scheduled. Didn't love Monaco.

If buying your ticket online don't show up too early with voucher. 20 to 30 minutes prior is plenty. Too early and you'll just be inline with people going to Saint Tropez. Then you'll have to step aside and wait anyway.
Nice scenic ride. Very smooth ride. Fresh squeezed orange juice for the mimosawas great. I would do it again.
Great way to see the coast from the water. It was a little choppy but the captain did a good job of taking us further out to keep us all comfortable!
Nice ride seats inside were comfortable on the way to Monaco from Nice, returning the benches in back outside were just ok. Crew very good.
Super fun and relaxing boat tour. Great opportunity to see the vibe of the island from the water. Ulimited Beer was a nice bonus.
The ferry ride was great but it does not leave you the main port in Monaco. It leaves you at their other port which is NOT near the city center. It is a long uphill walk to get to the Prince’s Palace and there is no way to get a cab. So be prepared for a long walk after you arrive. We took this ferry in July and it was unbearable humid and hot. We had to stop several times before we arrived at the top of the hill at the Palace. It takes a good 30 minutes uphill. If you have any mobility or heart issues do not even attempt this walk. We are in good shape and had a hard time because of the heat and humidity.

This was a great way to get to and from Monaco in the most scenic route. Everything was perfect! I would try to sit on top or in the back as the inside is a bit warm. Overall, a great ride with very nice staff.

Travel to the launch location is not convenient to Nice hotels.
Monaco port is difficult to travel to. Should notify people about options. Uber wasn’t available.
Fun trip on the water between Nice and Monaco (45min to Monaco, 60min return). The Charlotte was a very nice ship. Crew were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The return trip included a closer ride along the coast with lots of interesting commentary of the area. Note: Ferry docks at Port de Fontvieille (not Port Hercule). Bus stop at Fontvieille can quickly take you anywhere in Monaco. Recommend the Ship & Castle English pub at the end of the day. You can enjoy a beverage near the water and will see the Charlotte return to port.

That you will explore Monaco by foot for hours, it was a beautiful experience but traveling alone and not speaking the language I got very lost for hours, but that gave me the opportunity to see things otherwise I would have missed…. The Palace is something everyone should experience… such beautiful art and so much more… I would do it again if I ever had the opportunity… the tour guide on the boat was exceptional, he explained everything in English so masterfully, loved his accent and the way he presented…..

Excellent experience, friendly crew. About 40 minutes on the way there and a little longer on the way back as they take you on a mini coastal tour with commentary. Seating up top but seating also inside with big windows and shade (which we preferred). Tip - the collection point for the tickets wasnt the most obvious to find, it is a little blue kiosk right opposite a restaurant called Le Raja. Be early

Great way to visit Monaco from Nice.
Travel in this smart speed boat to the port, take your time exploring the city of Monaco. Highlights were the changing of the guard at the Palace at 11:55 and the views every which way we turned on our walk.
On the trip back to Nice the captain gives you lovely information about the places you see along the coast.

Get there early as there was a flood of people getting on the boat and they are rude and pushy. Bring your own map as they don’t provide you with any details on how to get over to Monte Carlo.
A quick and convenient way to travel to Monaco. The boat was clean, modern, and comfortable, with refreshments available on board. The added bonus was a guided tour on the return to Nice, where the captain pointed out celebrity homes and shared interesting facts along the way.
Be on time, it’s a beautiful ride, but can be choppy! Friendly crew and the views are spectacular!!!!
