Josh was very knowledgeable and a nice guy. He made the tour inclusive for everyone ensuring folks could hear, see pictures, etc. I would definitely recommend.

Josh was our tour guide whose passion and depth of knowledge for the subject held our attention for the entire tour, we could have continued on for hours. It was an incredibly insightful, respectful and sensitively treated topic. Seeing these historically famous sites blew us away-sometimes because of how ordinary they were, being directly out of proportion to their historical and global significance. The treatment of the tour meant so much on many levels. Josh was incredible.

Overall, decent enough tour, i felt it lasted a bit longer than necessary, my own opinion. I could have left earlier, but was travelling with another and didn't want to detract from their experience.

There was no mention of 'the Holocaust' in the title or description of this tour, but it was almost the sole focus of our guide Josh who lectured us at tedious & tendentious length, literally going back to ancient history to background a topic we had not signed up for. Consequently, numerous places - and events connected with them - promised in the tour description (Königsplatz, Feldherrnhalle, the Hofgarten) were omitted through lack of time.

The tour was beautifully delivered, Josh’s knowledge and consciousness about the evil that took place was endearing.

Travelling from Australia with my husband. This tour, led by ‘Josh’ was outstanding. Josh was clear, honest, respectful, full of wealth and knowledge we were hooked on every word. We learnt so much more than the program outline. A very humbling experience to learn history from such a caring and respectful perspective. One of the best tours we have every been on! Attending this event is a must when visiting Munich, the birthplace and home of the Third Reich during WWII. Our guide was Josh and he is the perfect educator if you want to know about the Rise snd Fall of its Governing Body. He delivered the facts in a balanced yet realistic tone, and in at times a dramatic manner that made us more aware of how dangerously close our world has become to repeating that ugly chapter of history.

I personally found the tour guide (Josh) very off putting. He was insistent that no one even have their phone in their hand, even closed and not being used, whenever he was talking. Even though my phone was completely closed and not at all open, he refused to continue the tour unless I put my phone literally in my pocket. I'm always concerned about pickpocketing and so prefer to have my phone gripped in my hand. His narration was also off putting to me as he often used very corny and cringy humor and took 10 minutes to explain what could be said in 5. Also, there was far too much lecturing and not enough movement or interaction. I literally left the tour early as I thought it was that poor quality. I would NOT recommend this tour with this guide.

This tour was an amazing experience. Not only does it take you to and into a number of historical sites but it explains how and why many major significant events of the era unfolded.
The guide (Josh) put much of the history we’ve learned about the rise of the Nazi Party in a new perspective — using data to challenge historical claims about “why and how” the Nazis came to power but also peeling away some of the falsehoods the Nazis created to “whitewash” their horrific deeds, propaganda that has persisted to this day.
But the biggest impact of this tour was to use the history of the Nazi movement to better explain how extremists within a democracy from any “extreme” can destroy a democracy from within — which is exactly what the Nazi Party did. It was a brilliant tour. I wish it had been longer.
