VIATOR should post a photo of the meeting point location to ensure the customers can find it accurately without any delays. For example, meeting point for the Ripper tour was St Mary Whitechapel Memorial. The actual location is now a park and you cannot tell that it’s a memorial without anyone telling you that it was a former chapel that was bombed in WWII. Some of us had to google the location photo to ensure that we were in the right place.
The tour guide showed the group photos of the Ripper victims and suspects after two hours of the tour. Some of us had to recollect who that photo was and the story about it. Recommend to show photos while the story about that person is being told to have a better understanding of the story that was being told.

Our tour and tour guide Aran was amazing. He was fun. Knowledgeable. Answered questions. Spoke great English which we noticed the other tour guides did not. All in all it was great. We would definitely do it again.

Anna was engaging, informed, respectful of the victims and, when appropriate, very funny. I was a little worried taking my 16 year old but it was so well done and we both learned a ton about the area and the economics and social dynamics contributing to the conditions that led to a murderer feeling he could run amok.

What a great tour we had with Nick. He brought Jack the Ripper to life! Every detail became more interesting as Nick shared the story of the five victims Jack the Ripper murdered in the late 1800’s in London.
If you are so lucky to have Nick as your tour guide then you will be in for a treat.

Our Jack the Ripper tour was amazing and so was our guide Nic. He was very helpful and very knowledgeable about Jack the Ripper and his victims and had pictures to share with tour. He answered any questions we had and enjoyed what he was doing. I would definitely recommend him again for another tour

Absolutely disgraceful service from both the tour operator and Viator. There were four tours departing from the same location, yet customers were left to work everything out themselves with no meaningful support.
I called the operator’s office four times and received no response. I also messaged the host directly and received no response. Apparently, after paying, the customer is expected to spend the evening repeatedly chasing an operator who cannot even be bothered to answer the phone.
Seven people were affected: two of us and an American family of five. At roughly £20 per person, around £140 was lost that evening, in addition to the wasted time and disruption to everyone’s plans.
What makes this even worse is Viator’s response. I have used Viator around 40 times, and this is the level of service I receive when something genuinely goes wrong. Rather than properly protecting a regular customer, Viator simply refused the refund because the same unresponsive operator did not approve it. That is an absurd complaints process and provides customers with no meaningful protection.
Incredibly poor organisation, communication and customer service from beginning to end.
