All Yokohama Tours & Excursions in 2026

Absolutely, without a doubt, the VERY best way to experience all the highlights of Tokyo. We unexpectedly got an extra day in Yokohama/Tokyo when our cruise ship docked early due to weather and we wanted to squeeze in as many of the Tokyo "must see" items as possible. Our guide, Masa, was absolutely incredible in making sure our tour exceeded our expectations at every juncture - even though we booked very last minute, Masa was in contact quickly (and communicated very effectively so we could connect with in a very busy cruise terminal), made certain he understood our objectives with the tour and prepared an exceptional itinerary for us. When it unexpectedly took us nearly two hours to get through customs, Masa adjusted on the go and ensured that we still completed the original itinerary (even though it meant that we got back a bit later than the initial plan). As first time visitors to Japan and Tokyo (and it being our very first day in Japan), we had a LOT of questions and Masa answered them all. We got to experience Shibuya Crossing, Ginza shopping district (with a stop at a free rooftop garden with absolutely incredible views), Tsukiji Outer Market, an unbelievable lunch of delicious Japanese sushi (best we've ever tasted by a long shot), Asajusa and Senso-ji, ending with a ride on the bullet train back to Yokohama. We traveled a bunch by train and Masa is an absolute master of the train system - this added a layer of authenticity and ease to our tour that could never have happened in a group tour or some larger gathering. We had one shot to do Tokyo on this trip and our tour with Masa was unquestionably the best choice.
