Great tour of Kamakura
We had a great tour of Kamakura with Sumiko! we visited Hokokuji temple, the Great Buddha of Kamakura at Kotoko-in, Hasa-dera Temple, had a lovely Japanese lunch, then Senkein garden, and Yokohama. Sumiko was very informative regarding Japanese history and gave us detailed information on the sites we visited. We would definitely choose to tour with her again! The tour was able to pick us up at our hotel in Tokyo and drop us off in Yokohama so we can board our cruise.

This customizable tour...
This customizable tour worked really well for us and enjoyed the conversation throughout despite the heat! We went to the places we were most interested in iand received thorough explanations from An. She is very knowledgeable, flexible and kind, highly recommend her and would definitely love to tour again with her the places we did not have the time to visit if we’re back in Kamakura.

Worth it for the history.
Ken was very knowledgeable and gave good context and history on each of the individual shrines we visited. He also explained the differences in the shrines versus the Buddhist temples... in this case the Kotoku-in ( great buddha ) temple in the center of Kamakura. He also treated us to some Japanese snacks, including Macha soft serve and various snacks including dongo ( skewered mochi with sweet teriyaki ).

Highly recommend the Kamakura walking tour
Had an amazing time with our guide Miyu on our Kamakura walking tour! The Great Buddha is just something that needs to be seen in real life (the pics look great but it is even better in person). We also saw Tsurugoaka Hachimangu shrine which had a Spring Festival on that day which was awesome to see! Miyu was a fantastic guide, extremely knowledgeable and lovely especially to our kids. Highly recommend Miyu and the Kamakura walking tour!
