Grand canal Murano tour
Fantastic. Greeted by tour guide at hotel on time and enthusiastic. Knowledgeable tour of the grand canal and please ride to Murano. The glass factory tour was above and beyond our expectations. Knowledgeable and experienced more than demonstration it was actual work. Plenty of flexibility on time to shop ending with a Prosecco. Christina our guide was excellent.

Gondola ride with obnoxious gondolier
Interesting history of the gondola before actual gondola ride. The tour guide Ellie was very knowledgeable and engaging. Our shared ride through the small canals and grand canals was a must do! The gondolier spent the entire ride shouting into his cell phone on numerous calls. Despite the rude gondolier, we would recommend.

Best tour guide!
It was amazing! My favorite part was the boat ride and Switzerland! My tour guy Amato and Edoardo the driver did amazing! Smooth ride between going from Milan to lake cumo and then Switzerland & back to Milan. I went with my boyfriend and we had such a great time. We took amazing pictures and learned so much with our tour guy Amato. The Coach bus was so clean and cold! Amazing experience!

Venice
Gondola floating along the Grand Canal in Venice, Italy.
  • Most Grand Canal gondola rides begin or end in St. Mark’s Square, home to St. Mark's Basilica (Basilica di San Marco) and Doge's Palace (Palazzo Ducale), and include a few picturesque minor canals along the way.

  • As one of the most popular destinations in Italy, Venice can get extremely crowded. To avoid a long wait at the motor launch, book your tour tickets in advance.

  • The palaces along the Grand Canal have architectural styles that span from the Byzantine to the Renaissance periods, and are best appreciated with an expert tour guide who can explain their history and importance.

  • Note that Venice and the Grand Canal feature a great number of bridges, many of which are not wheelchair accessible.
