What are people saying about Sofia

A Worthy Guided Trip Not to Miss
Ina is an amazing tour guide. She linked the history of the monument where we met to Bulgarian history back through the ages to the two stops on the tour and to current times. She guided us around the outside and inside of the Monastery making sense of all the art, and flagging what to look for in the Monastery. She also came equipped with art graphics so we were prepared to make the most of our time inside the Boyana Church. The trip ran like clock work, and their ability to get us reserved time in the Church and to get us there at our appointed time is commendable. All the participants, broken into two language groups, were respectful of each other under the artful direction of the two guides on the bus, which was much appreciated. The guides were mindful of the need for rest stops and coordinated bathroom lineups to minimize wait times, particularly at Boyana Church.

Local charm and great regional wines & charcuterie
Excellent and quaint wine bistro focused on local vineyards. The owners blended a very sense of history cultures and regions that helped us understand Bulgaria more. The local charcuterie meats and cheeses were excellent pairings with the tastings. The pours were very generous for a tasting and the glassware was excellent. Very convenient location in old town. Thank you

Good overview of Sofia
This was a well organised tour and covered the main sites in Sofia. Vasil was very informative, friendly and has a passion for his countries history. Good communication prior to the tour and a clear outline of what was going to happen throughout. I am glad I booked it and enjoyed hearing about Bulgaria's history.

A beautiful country, easily explored.
A fascinating day, exploring a little known country with the fantastic Georg. The s ever on our drive to Nis was wonderful. Stops along the way included the beautifully preserved Roman Ruins at Mediana, the harrowing Red Cross Concentration Camp and the eerie Tower of Skulls. There was the. Free time in Nis to eat and explore. I loved how the tour captured thousands of years of Serbian/Yugoslav history and was explained in a sensitive and simplistic style. Wholeheartedly recommend. It was long, the border crossing could be painful but so worth it!
