Lovely tour with lovely guide
We are so incredibly satisfied with our tour with Snezana. She took such good care of us and guided us safely and thoughtfully between the different stops. The entire tour was truly tailored to our needs and special requests regarding photo stops, time spent at the different destinations, and more. We give her our very warmest recommendations! It was truly a tour that gave us such a beautiful insight into the country

An excellent tour of monasteries with a brewery thrown in!
The tour was excellent from start to finish. We were picked up from our accommodation and our guide Bobo outlined the day. His car was air conditioned too which was wonderful on such a hot day! We visited dajbabe, the cave monastery first (breathtaking), then had a stop for coffee snd raspberry juice with a gorgeous view. Then we went to the lower and upper Ostrog monasteries - which were so amazing. We had a surprise visit to a local brewery after that - and sampled the beer (which was delicious!), then visited the Cathedral of the Resurrection of Christ in Podgorica - a wonderful piece of architecture with every possible space painted inside. It was such a brilliant day - well recommended 🌟

Beautiful lake in Montenegro
this is a great experience except that you need to set up some kind of transportation there. we rented a car to make it there and back, the Lake is beautiful and the 2 hour boat ride is well worth it. we had wine on the boat and were offered to swim in the lake.

Don’t miss this.
Excellent tour seeing, smelling, experiencing the beauty of Montenegrin parks and gorges. Nino our guide was excellent, patient, knowledgeable and a careful driver. I’m a nature lover so it was perfect for me. Though my husband isn’t as crazy about nature, he too enjoyed the tour.

My mother and I found...
My mother and I found Petar through Viator and booked him as a guide for a visit to two monasteries near Sveti Stefan. Our family has ancestral roots in the area, and when we mentioned this to Petar, he was genuinely enthusiastic and immediately engaged in helping us explore that connection more deeply.
The first monastery, Praskvica, he brought us to was especially meaningful—it’s where our ancestor’s family grave site is located. We had only seen it in a picture before. Petar spoke with the monks on our behalf, and through his translation we were able to sit down with one of them and learn more about our family’s history. Afterward, the monk offered us some very nice homemade raki.
We also visited a second monastery, Rustovo, higher in the mountains, opened around 2006 and dedicated to the Romanov family of Russia. It is known as a place of healing, particularly for women experiencing difficulties with pregnancy.
Both monasteries are not accessible by tour buses due to very narrow mountain roads. A small vehicle and local knowledge are essential. Petar clearly has strong relationships with the monks and nuns, which made access to these places possible. Without him, we would have missed not only my family’s gravesite, but also a truly unique cultural experience shared over homemade raki in a monastery setting. In addition, the views from the monasteries and the mountain roads were amazing.
If you’re looking for something beyond standard sightseeing—personal, culturally meaningful, and off the beaten path—I highly recommend booking a tour with Petar. He’s also open to customizing the experience, which makes it even more valuable for travelers with specific interests or connections to the region.

Beautiful lake
A fabulous way to see the lake. Our captain Peta was fun and very easy to talk to. The steps up to the monastery are worth it for the views and to se the old chapel. Wine on board was a welcome extra. The pretty town where you board is worth spending a while in too

A fabulous tour experience
Dimitrije picked us up from our hotel with a big smile and answered all our questions along the way and gave lots of information. He allowed us time to explore on our own as well and we found lots to talk about. The Monastery and Falls are definitely worth seeing and we would recommend this tour and company to anyone. We came away having had a great experience and will book with them again
