Private day tour to Mount Saint Michele
An absolutely phenomenal experience! Our guide, Margot, was organized, brilliant, warm, and highly engaging. She shared wonderful history about the abbey and hidden gems that we never would have discovered on our own. The tour was perfectly paced, and Margot went above and beyond to make sure everyone in our group was comfortable and having fun. Five stars all around!
Fantastic memory!
(Our group was fine, but I feel overall the trip should have a warning that there is a lot of walking and no way to access the abbey without managing many cobblestone steps.)

Our guide, Remi, was...
Our guide, Remi, was fantastic. He had so much information about D-Day and the actual Band of Brothers easy Company. He used a portfolio of photographs to help tell the story at each and every stop. Many tales of incredible heroism and sacrifice as well as stories of personal bonding.

Great experience
Thoroughly enjoyed this tour. It covered so many elements of what the Canadian’s role was and what they experienced on D Day. It was a very informative and moving experience for us as Canadians with relatives who fought in this war. And a shout out to our great tour guide Stephan! He was extremely knowledgeable and we really enjoyed spending the day with him!

The tour provided...
The tour provided excellent information about the subject matter. It blended history and the HBO show Band of Brothers very well.
Our guide Paul was excellent. He was knowledgeable about the subject and answered questions with ease. Paul was prompt and personable. He even made us a reservation for lunch for crepes and galettes, which were the best meal we’d had on our trip to France. Highly satisfied!

Highly Recommend
Irene was a fabulous guide. She was entertaining and told us a lot of information in a fun learning way to help us remember facts. She was very accommodating at fitting in everything we wanted to see including helping a cousin find a family member at the America cemetery. It was a great day and I would highly recommend. I should also add this is my husband and my 2nd time doing this tour and we learned additional information. For the other 4 family members it was their first time and they throughly enjoyed it

Don’t miss Honfluer ! Excellent tour!
There is quite a bit of walking if you have mobility issues. Mostly cobblestone alleys, streets and sidewalks. Hard to push a walker or stroller on. We were happy to have a couple of hours of free time in Honfluer. A beautiful little village with many cafes and shops. We loved it ! Tour guide Lawrence was so knowledgeable about the history and culture of France and the towns. We also saw Deauville but loved Honfluer!!! Everyone was so nice!

First rate!
This was an amazing tour. It was well organized and seamless.
Amir was one of the best tour guide we have ever had! He was knowledgeable, clear, and humorous.
The boat ride down the Seine was a perfect way to see all the sights.
The bus was comfortable.

DDay remembered thanks to a wonderful guide
What a great experience with the help of our guide Lucy. From pickup to drop off nothing was missed and in a challenging overly busy period we met our objective of getting to each site for experience that I was looking for. Our guide was informative, pleasant, and really took care to make sure each member of the group was able to enjoy all of the locations we wanted to see and come away with a great memory. What made it impactful is the guide truly cared for each person and saw we were not lost in all the busy activities which brings perhaps the most people to DDay celebration in Normandie. Highly recommend the company and the guide and to do the tour b if you want to avoid crowds choose a day other than June 6. But we managed well. Bring attire for the weather as we experienced three seasons in one day. Thank you Lucy

This tour of Omaha Beach,...
This tour of Omaha Beach, Utah Beach, and the American Cemetery was very informative and well organized. The guide provided a lot of interesting historical background and explained the significance of each location clearly. Visiting these sites in person was a memorable experience, and the tour was paced well throughout the day. I would highly recommend this tour.

British Normandy Beaches Tour
We were collected at Bayeux train station by Emanuel and were lucky enough to be the only people on the tour. As we were talking about history in the minibus, Emanuel made an extra stop and showed us where William the Conquerer was buried. We then continued to the Pegasus bridge and museum and it was completely up to us how long we stayed there.
We visited the war burial sites and the landing beach. Emanuel had photos to show us and lots of knowledge and we all had an enjoyable afternoon. We also asked to be dropped back into the centre of Bayeux so we could have a look around, which he was happy to do - great service and excellent English

Giverny
Our guide was exceptional. On the way to Giverny he gave us a history of Monet’s life. We arrived at opening time and he guided us through the house before it got crowded. After that we were free to tour the gardens and pond. On the way back to Paris he pointed out places Monet had lived and painted. Finally he dropped us off in Paris at a very nice place for lunch. A great day.

Not seeing something you are looking for?
World War II history, UNESCO-listed monuments, Belle Epoque beach resorts, and medieval cities: Normandy has it all, and you’ll only scratch the surface of what this region offers on Normandy day trips. With just one day, focus your explorations on a particular area or sight, whether visiting France’s most famous island monastery, following the path of Allied soldiers at the D-Day beaches, or hopping between the picturesque coastal towns of the North. Normandy is close enough to Paris to be a day-trip destination, but you’ll be able to see even more if you start from Bayeux or Le Havre.
