Authentic Maasai Community Experience – A Real Day-to-Day Look at Life Outside Nairobi!

What a genuine and eye-opening experience this was! This tour offered something you don't always get—a real, unfiltered look at day-to-day life in the Maasai community, and it was one of the most memorable parts of our trip. The Maasai people were incredibly nice and welcoming—they opened their community to us with such warmth and generosity, and it made the whole experience feel truly special. Our tour guides were also wonderful: so nice, friendly, and knowledgeable, answering all our questions and sharing insights that brought everything to life. We learned so much directly from the community—how the women prepare food and cook, how they weave necklaces and wristbands, and even how they milk goats! It was hands-on, personal, and gave us a much deeper appreciation for Maasai traditions and daily life. This tour is perfect for anyone wanting a genuine cultural exchange rather than a staged presentation. Between the warmth of the Maasai people and the knowledge and kindness of our guides, the lessons we took away were priceless. Highly recommended!

Fun and Insightful

Franc did a fantastic job taking us on safari and being knowledgeable about Narobi. Sheldrick Wildlife Trust was my main motivation to come to Kenya. I enjoyed seeing the orphaned/injured animals be cared for and finding out the history of the site. I also had fun feeding the giraffes at The Giraffe Centre. :)

In a Kenyan savanna that is too often arid and dry, Amboseli Park stands out for its wealth of water and beautiful green grass that allows an infinity of animals to live serenely, even if this adjective is not really suitable for many of them, given the constant risk to which they are exposed. Lionesses, elephants, zebras and every type of bird will appear before your eyes, often in very large herds. Excellent and Reliable Airport Pickup

Excellent airport pick up experience. Our driver David sent me a message through WhatsApp to let me know he would be waiting for us. Our flight was a little delayed but we maintained good communication until we were able to meet him outside after customs. David was very polite and we had a nice conversation. He took both our suitcases to the large vehicle and drove us right to our hotel. Definitely recommended. 😁

Had a wonderful day with Evans, from Wasili Kenya Safari. He was a great guide throughout Nairobi National Park - knowing where animals liked to hang out and sharing his insights. Saw lions, rhinos, zebras, and so much more. We watched a giraffe family in the silence of the park - no other visitors around - for at least 10 minutes. It was awesome!

We had an absolutely outstanding safari with John in Nairobi National Park – it really couldn’t have been better. From the very beginning, you noticed that John is not only extremely experienced, but also does his job with real passion. He knows the park like his back pocket and has an incredible sense of tracking animals. Thanks to him, we were able to see an impressive variety of wildlife in a short time – including some highlights we would never have discovered on our own. What was particularly impressive was how much knowledge John shared. He didn’t just show animals, but explained exciting backgrounds, behaviour and connections – always understandable, never intrusive. You immediately notice that he has years of experience and really knows his stuff. The tour was also top in person: super friendly, relaxed and professional at the same time. Amazing experience, park packed with animals. Willy our guide was so helpful and you could stand up in the vehicle to get a great view. He said we were very lucky to see almost everything in our wish list - rhinos, giraffes, zebras, crocodiles, cheetahs, lions, buffalo and even a fleeting view of a leopard as we were leaving. Incredible bird life too - I would have liked to learn more about them as well. The team were very friendly and proactive with their communication and worked around a delayed taxi from the airport to make it work. Bring your own water and if you want to spend a long time looking at each point consider booking a private tour as this moves quite quickly (which suited me perfectly).
