Fantastic trip. Adrian was an extremely knowledgeable guide. We saw loads of species, 2 and 3 toe sloths, snakes, various lizard, iguana, butterflies, monkeys and many others, we would not have spotted half of them without him. Not only did we see them but he explained so much about them. You definitely need a guide in the Cahuita park and Adrian was fantastic, he even helped other guides to see things. We didn’t get deep into the park as we saw so much and were taking our time to look at the various species. We took a short break at the beach before heading out and on to Bri Bri falls. A shorter visit but to suit us and Adrian again pointed out various species including tree frogs and bullet ants en route then took us down to the falls where you can swim or sit on the rocks and dip your toes in. Supplied a fruit snack and biscuits! You could also get coconut water here. I can’t recommend this tour and Adrian the guide enough. We wish we’d known about him sooner as he does tours to Manzanillo too. Well worth it if you actually want to see and learn about the various animals, reptiles, birds, fauna and flora of Costa Rica. You even get a pick up and drop off, still back in time to have some afternoon left over.

We booked this cooking class expecting to chop and stir alongside the host, but it turned into something even better. Instead of cooking ourselves, we sat around Josefina's bar and watched her work, and it felt less like a class and more like being welcomed into a family member's home. Josefina was a wonderful host from start to finish. As she cooked, she shared tips and tricks along the way, but what really made the experience special was hearing her family's history and learning about Puerto Viejo itself. Its culture, its roots, and what makes the area so unique. It gave the whole evening a depth we weren't expecting. She sent us home with the recipes afterward, so we can try recreating the dishes ourselves. It was a genuinely wonderful, heartfelt experience, and one I would happily do all over again.

Vici was an amazing guide. Super welcoming, knowledgeable, and fun. The horses were super well taken care of and well trained. You can tell she loves her horses and takes the best care of them. Even saw 2 sloths on our ride! Thanks so much, I recommend 10000% this tour!

This private tour was incredible! We were met by our guides Kathi and George were very knowledgeable and pointed out treasures of the jungle we would have never been able to find. We were fortunate enough to see sloths monkeys crocs and iguanas. They took very good care of us providing bottles of water and fresh fruit. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour group!

Highly recommend this tour - thanks to Larry (tour guide) and Eric (driver) we had a great day. We were picked up right outside the cruise terminal. Learnt so much about the culture and customs of Limon. Larry was excellent explaining the workings of the banana plantation. Enjoyed the canal boat ride where we made many stops to see a variety of birds, monkeys, sloths and crocodiles. Had a really fun time - great way to see parts of Costa Rica via a cruise ship.

The scenery was absolutely breathtaking—lush, vibrant, and unforgettable—but what made the experience even more special were our hostess, Rachel, and our driver, Alex. Rachel was incredible—warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and enjoying every moment, even taking us out of her way to give us a local experience. That personal touch meant so much. Alex was just as wonderful—professional, friendly, and funny. He made us feel safe and relaxed throughout the entire journey. Together, they made the experience seamless and memorable. I would absolutely recommend this tour, and I’m so grateful we had Rachel and Alex guiding us through such a beautiful place.

Our trip was fantastic! Our guide Ariel and his driver Gato were more than accommodating. They were prompt at pick up and were very informative. All of our questions were answered without hesitation. We would highly recommend. I would give ten stars if possible,

My friends and husband told me they would try a zip line, if I would . Boy! Did we pick the right one!!! Everyone had a fabulous time and the guides were superb! Jose was our guide on the island and we had a nice boat ride on the canal and a short trip to a banana plantation. Those two were fine, but the zip line will be with us forever! It was thrilling, but without fear. Those guys were real pros and what a ride! The zip line was high, long and fast. Well worth every cent!
