What are people saying about Belize City

Uniquely wonderful
Aaron was an absolute pleasure to have as a guide today. I feel so terrible that we forgot to tip him. I really would like you to forward my info to him so I can Cash App him if possible. Showing us where he grew up and tasting wonderful traditional local favorites. Even the kids loved it. Eating in an SUV was tricky but wouldn’t trade the comfort of AC and safety for something like an open bus type setting. Also not having to walk through town was excellent for us and made it more accessible to places further apart. We are scouting different countries to retire to and this showed us the potential to include this at the top of the list. Thank you so much for an awesome time. Highly recommend this tour

Book It!
Cave tubing was PERFECT! This was something I had always wanted to try, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations! The experience was so much fun from beginning to end.
Our tour guides, Manuel and Peter, were AMAZING! They were extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and FUNNY! 😂 They made sure everyone felt comfortable, stayed engaged, and had a great time throughout the entire experience.
You could tell they genuinely cared about making sure we enjoyed ourselves, and their personalities made the tour even more memorable. They were the perfect guides for our group!
I would 100% rebook this tour with Manuel and Peter every single time. If you’re considering cave tubing, BOOK IT! You won’t regret it! 🙌🏽🇧🇿
Did I mentioned they served us lunch in the end? YUP

Fantastic way to explore Belize City with Elijah!
We had an incredible time on the TukTuk Belize City Sightseeing Tour. Elijah was an amazing guide. He was incredibly informative, personable, and kept us thoroughly engaged throughout the entire trip with fascinating stories and local insights. Beyond showing us the sights, Elijah gave us food recommendations and helped us find souvenirs. Riding around in the TukTuk was fun and a great way to get an authentic feel for the city.

Amazing!
Antuan is a great tour guide. He is knowledgeable, fun, kind and considerate. After visiting Altun Ha we went to his Mom's beautiful restaurant where she made a delicious lunch for us. She had a vegan plate for me (per request) of rice & beans, plantains, sweet potato and a salad. This wasn't a sad vegan plate like some places give you, it was full and amazing. My friends loved their lunches which included chicken and potato salad.
We ended the day with a short walk through the most beautiful jungle and cave tubing.
So glad we skipped a large company and chose this family business to help us experience a bit of Belize's incredible jungle, history, culture and food.
There are a ton of tours out there, this is the one to take!

Didn't need to book through the cruuise line to get one of th ebest and secure feeling shore excursion!
I've done around 50 shore excursions over the last 25 years, and this one easily lands in my top three of all time.
To make things interesting, the weather wasn't cooperating, and the ship's tenders got us to shore about 50 minutes late. I was worried we'd miss the tour, but they waited for us... and it turns out there were six other delayed passengers too. That level of customer service set the tone right away.
Finding them at the port was incredibly easy. They were standing right in the middle with a big sign, practically impossible to miss. If you've ever done independent excursions before, you know that isn't always the case. Sometimes you're playing a real-life game of "Where's Waldo?" while checking text messages and hoping you're in the right spot. Not here.
I'll admit, I was a little nervous about spending 90 minutes floating through a cave on an inner tube. The thought of being underground for that long sounded a bit intimidating. Thanks to our guide, that nervousness lasted maybe three minutes. The remaining 87 minutes were nothing but fun. The cave itself was incredible, and the small-group atmosphere made it feel like a private tour with lots of one-on-one interaction.
After the tubing adventure, they provided a nice lunch at no extra cost, which was a great touch.
One thing to know: if you're visiting this port and want to do something truly memorable, expect about an hour drive in a van. The ride was perfectly fine, although the van may have been auditioning for a role as a bouncing castle and could probably use some new shocks.
Most importantly, every concern I had about booking with an independent operator instead of a cruise-line excursion was completely debunked. The organization, communication, service, and experience were all outstanding.
I would absolutely book with this company again and would be thrilled to get Abner (sp?) as our driver and guide. He did a fantastic job and was a huge part of what made this excursion so memorable.
Bottom line: If you're on the fence about this excursion, stop thinking and book it. It was one of the best shore excursions I've ever done. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

10/10 services!
If you are able to request a driver, request Jamie! He was on time for pick up, made sure I was comfortable in the van before we left (they give you cold water and WiFi access for messaging apps). Jamie was also so kind to share his knowledge of Belize, the Mayan culture and history of villages we traveled to on our way to San Ignacio. You could feel how proud he was and I am grateful to him for sharing. Also, he drove me through San Ignacio and showed me some restaurants and shops to check out before taking me to my hotel.

Was that a Jaguar?!
Have you ever experienced a hike up a mountain, in full gear, with a tube on your back? I know I haven't, and it was an experience I wouldn't trade for the world.
From the sights of natural fauna on the mountain side, to the cold crisp natural river, that leads into a crystalized cave bat enclove, this was a wonderful experience.
Wrapping it all up with flying across the top of trees, and rivers via a Zipline course that climbed higher and higher each section was an eye opener.
Closing out with a tour of the islands country-side whilst enjoying a tamale and a crisp drink, chef's kiss.
I would recommend this tour each and every time for anyone wanting to experience something new and different. I give it a 10/10!

Fun Zip-Lining and Cave Tubing
Dennis Jr was a great guide: knowledgeable and friendly. He picked us up from the cruise terminal and then it was about an hours drive to the zip-lining. Darrin and William were our guides and they were excellent. Their primary concern was our safety. There were seven zip-lines. It was a beautiful setting in the forest that finished with us zip-lining over a river.
After the zip-lining Dennis Jr took us to the cave tubing. This was relaxing as he did all the work of guiding us throughout the journey - which took about an hour. It was interesting to hear the history of how the Mayans viewed the caves, and also to see three different types of bats.
It was a really good day.

Amazing time at Altun Ha and Cave tubing!
We had the best time! Our tour guide, Able, was fantastic, so knowledgeable about the culture, nature, and answered every question we had. Able took great pictures of us to have. Made sure we could slow down and really experience everything. He was friendly to other groups and helped answer their questions and take their pictures as well. This is a family business and they’ve done a great job setting everything up for a smooth day. One of the best tours and tour guides we’ve had. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing time on...
Had an amazing time on our ziplining & cave tubing excursion! The entire experience was so fun, exciting, and well organized from start to finish. Ansaar was an absolutely amazing guide — super friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and made everyone feel comfortable and safe the whole time. You can tell he truly enjoys what he does. The views while ziplining were beautiful, and the cave tubing was such a relaxing and unique experience. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend this excursion, especially if you get Ansaar as your guide!

A fantastic day at Lamanai Mayan ruins m
This was altogether a great tour; from the car ride from the hotel to get on the boat; the boat ride to the Lamanai site; the tour of the mayan ruins and the lunch afterwards; everything was done in a very professional manner. The driver and the boat operator/guide were very knowledgeable and engagingly. The mayan ruins were fascinating and well worth the visit. The lunch provided was very delicious. All told, this was a very good experience and I highly recommend it.

Great time
This was great because we got to do two excursions at once. Through the cruise line it was either cave tubing or Mayan ruins. But this group made sure we got to do both. I was worried about missing the ship at the end of the day, but they were in constant contact with each other making sure we got back to the port on time. Jose called me before to make sure my concerns were addressed. He gave me a hug at the terminal. It felt like we were friends. Jeff was our driver. The potholes were the most adventurous part of the excursion. Jeff knew where they were and we missed every single one of them. What a challenge. Several in my group had to cancel, so I went by myself and Jeff made sure I was comfortable. I made new friends. Thanks Crew. Great time.

Belize City is famous for its beauty, wildlife, history, and cuisine, and Belize City tours serve up all of it—often with a thrill. Why walk through caves when you can explore Mother Nature’s subterranean tunnels by tube or kayak? Why ride a crowded bus through the rainforest when you can zipline through the canopy? Look (and listen) for howler monkeys, snorkel Shark Ray Alley, or travel back in time to the Mayan ruins of Altun Ha and Lamanai. Finally, don’t miss a food tour back in Belize City. Your days (and belly) will fill up all too quickly.
