Nice trip

A fantastic day trip to Rotorua with our guide Jason! Jason is extremely knowledgeable and shared many wonderful stories about the landscapes, Māori language and culture along the way. Jeremy chatted nonstop with him throughout the drive, and Jason was always patient answering all our questions. We loved visiting the geothermal park with colourful thermal pools, mud pools and the Māori village. We were amazed by the traditional carving crafts and the powerful haka performance. The itinerary was well planned and packed with amazing experiences. This tour exceeded our expectations and created unforgettable memories for our whole family. Highly recommend Jason as your guide!

Caves, Kiwi and Blue Springs are a Spiritual Experience

The Glowworms Cave experience is one of beauty and reverence. Our guide was informative, respectful and spiritual. This is an experience not to be missed. The Kiwi Hose was quant, and enjoyable. Our Driver came along with us and gave some interesting facts bout the birds we saw. Finally the Blue Springs was a lovely experience of pure nature which capped the day nicely. Now, a word of caution - be sure to check with your tour company about pick up times. Know that you will have only 20 minutes for a breakfast take away after 2 hours of driving. The same can be said for the Lunch time - which came at 3:30pm on our excursion. The entire day was 11+ hours as advertised.

Here’s a positive review you could use: Our experience at Hobbiton was absolutely magical! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping straight into Middle-earth. The gardens were immaculate, the hobbit holes were incredibly detailed, and every corner was picture-perfect. Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour both fun and informative with stories and behind-the-scenes insights. Finishing the tour with a drink at the Green Dragon Inn was the perfect way to end the experience. Even if you’re not a huge Lord of the Rings or Hobbit fan, this is a truly unique experience that showcases the beauty of New Zealand and the amazing craftsmanship behind the movie set. Bus tour guide, caves tour guide and Hobbiton tour guide were all great! Trip went smoothly and left and returned on time/early. Great itinerary glad we got to see both Waitomo and Hobbiton in one day as we were only here for a weekend. Included lunch was good too included a side and dessert. Bus was comfy and had wifi.

An Auckland must do

With a couple of extra days in Auckland I had asked on FB for recommendations on what to do. A couple of contributors replied that this was an absolute "must do". We duly booked it for the afternoon of our arrival. With glorious sunny weather it seemed we were all set for a memorable afternoon. Unfortunately when we turned up we were advised that due to winds it would not go ahead. Clearly safety was of utmost importance so gold star for that. We were offered the opportunity to receive a refund or to rearrange. Staff at the desk went out of their way to assist us. We were lucky enough to be able to rearrange and for the sail to go ahead. And it was certainly a memorable one for our last day in Auckland I think the yacht can take 30 passengers but i don't think there was a full contingent. The crew were friendly whilst at the same time being professional. Safety procedure were clearly explained to us. The crew explained the history of the yacht to us and engaged with us continually. There is an opportunity to actually help with crewing the yacht and it was certainly tempting to .join in. However we just took the opportunity to sit back and enjoy an exhilarating experience. It might not be the cheapest of experiences but we loved every minute and were so glad we did it.

This was a long drive but...

This was a long drive but all worth it. Grant our driver was very informative. We had some few stops to stretch and got a bite to eat. The Hobbiton was really good. My husband enjoyed it a lot. Got there early so kind of good missed all the crowds. Got pretty busy after we left. That was a plus. Wai-o tapu was really Nice which we were on our own and had to meet up later. Nice views kind of reminded us when we went to Yellowstone national park. We took this tour to venture out which we enjoyed a lot. Glad we did. Thank you Grant for an enjoyable time.

Auckland in a day!

Great tour of Auckland! Danny, our guide, was very knowledgeable about the city and shared stories and history of the area and people. We had wonderful views of the entire city and waterways from the tops of two volcanoes and drove through beautiful neighborhoods. We learned about the origins of the city and people. A tour well worth taking if coming to Auckland!
