Cockleshell Beach Trip with V&J Tours...RECOMMENDED

V&J Tours organized and coordinated our excursion on St. Kitts for the day. Dujon was our host and was INCREDIBLE! There was only the four of us heading to Cockleshell Beach so it was like a private tour! Dujon gave us a tour of the island and sites on the drive along with some history. He was such a pleasure and was so timely on our day trip (plenty of time at the beach and time to board the ship). Dujon accompanied us to the Reggae Beach Bar & Grill and made sure that we had our reserved beach chairs and umbrellas. The Reggae Beach Bar & Grill had great service and food; just wish we would have tried the lobster! They were massive and looked amazing. Cockleshell Beach was nice and relaxing but I would only go through V&J Tours for setting things up for a no-hassle experience. Beach loungers had to be rented for the day but we didnt have to worry about that as it was taken care for us! The experience was truly one to see the island life and kick your feet back on the beach. One thing to note was there were some sea turtles feeding in the area which was amazing to see and swim with! There are a couple of watercraft anchored out from shore that kinda killed the view but that's the island life. We would highly recommend using V&J Tours for this beach excursion and hope that you get Dujon! Thank for an amazing time!

The overlook is ok. All the buses seem to stop there. I'm completely unsure why snorkeling is in the title of this excursion, but if you do want to see the sand under your feet (because you won't be watching fish) while in the water, you need to take your own gear. You're dropped off at Reggae Beach Bar. The beach is okay. The chairs are worn. You'll probably need to open your umbrella and be prepared for them to try to collect money for chairs a second time--eventually they recognize you've already paid. Honestly, just get a $10 one-way taxi--you'll ride with them anyway.

Thank you for your review Monica. Apparently your are displeased about something. Our excursion is well organize and does not includes snorkle gear in the description. Please read description carefully. Nevertheless we now inclides snorkle gear for our Beach excursion from. Getting a $10 one way does not gurantee a good experience. The reason for the workers asking about payment for chairs amd umbrellas in an oversigh and we do hope this never occur again. We do hope you enjoy the rest of your day. Regards Dujan & Joycelyn
