My husband and I visited Croatia for the first time (April 2026). We kept hearing from friends and locals that we should do a tour of the islands. We are so glad we took their advice! Nikola and Duje were our captains/crew members and they were AMAZING! They gave us an experience of a lifetime! The water was pretty choppy that day but they navigated the water impeccably and the entire tour group was amazed of how well they managed through the waves/swells. They were a great team and made everyone feel safe, comfortable and ready for a fun day! The blue cave happened to be closed that day due to the weather, but they showed us some other great spots and even got to check out another cave. They provided jackets for us (if we were cold or if we didn’t want to get splashed by the water). My husband and I also brought a small backpack and bottles of water. The speed boat is fast, so just make sure you can secure your bag to your body (I wore my bag on my chest). My husband and I loved our tour and we highly recommend this experience, especially with Nikola and Duje!

Croatia by ssa

Deborah_T, May 2026
Explore islands and caves of Croatia by sea. Beautiful scenery. Our boat captain Nicholi was experienced maneuvering the waves to keep the boat as stable as possible. It is a rough ride, not for the faint of heart. Our guide was very kind. She shared brief history of each stop. Not in a depth. Blue cave was a favorite stop, a must see.

Great Trip to the Islands off Split

Loren_F, May 2026
Just note you are on a very small, uncovered 11 passenger kodiak-style boat. It's great in warm, sunny weather, but less so on a cold, drizzly day. Pilots are great and very helpful. My family enjoyed the trip.

Amazing

Jany_B, May 2026
Absolutely loved this trip from start to finish. The boat is so fun, the tour guides amazing, and all the stops and blue caves just stunning. Would definitely recommend.

Unpleasant boat ride

Janet_L, May 2026
There is not enough information fully describing the boat ride on the website and I suspect if you described that fully fewer people would take the tour. All the passengers on our boat were seniors. The driver played music blaring loud to the point where it was so distorted you couldn’t make it out. He also drove the boat extremely fast, full throttle all the way there except for two times where he pulled back the throttle over two big waves from the ferry. He went so fast that he passed two other tour boats that left ahead of us. 4 of us on that tour took the ferry home after Hvar as we couldn’t face that ride again. There were healthy swells in the sea and emerging whitecaps indicating increasing winds. There were also large waves from ferries and other craft that passed us. The driver didn’t always cross the waves at an angle to prevent side to side swings of the boat. My partner and I are 40 year boaters in coastal waters off British Columbia, Canada and it was a white knuckle ride for us. Honestly I wished I’d asked for a life jacket and I felt that scared in the boat. We were in a boat that saddle seats which were not very comfortable when the boat wasn’t moving so when it was bouncing all over the place with the waves and swells it made it very uncomfortable. I noticed other tour boats had proper seats and some even shade cloth over the seats. It was unfortunate that we couldn’t get into the blue caves, they were apparently closed due to rough waters. The beach stop that we made was also unfortunate that nothing was open there, no restaurants no public washrooms, so if one didn’t want to go swimming there wasn’t much to do. Hvar was beautiful and knowing we could take a ferry home gave us the time we needed to really explore. The hilltop castle was great and the lively atmosphere in town was great too. The ferry ride back was a joy.

I had a great day on the water, hopping islands and exploring caves. However, the speed boat journey to and from Split was quite long and pretty bumpy. You’ll feel more of an impact sitting in the front. While sitting in the back row is way more comfortable, you can get drenched. I think people with back problems would not enjoy the boat ride. Restaurants and bars on one of the islands that we stopped for swimming were not open yet as it’s still early in the season.

iragerardaolcom, May 2026
The experience is for someone younger than a senior. The first stop is by speedboat, riding the waves for 1.5 hours to the Blue Cave. The rest of the stops required shorter stints, but still totaling 3 hours riding a speed boat. Would probably take the ferry to Hvar.

Christine_H, Apr 2026
What a fun day! Got to the Blue Cave and Green Cave and wow, spectacular! We visited a couple towns and ate great food, hiked, walked and had a blast! The boat ride was fun. If you have back problems or motion sickness, this may not be your tour as it can can bumpy.

Excellent day trip from Split, but not with young children

Jennifer_D, Apr 2026
This trip was a blast - we saw lots through the day and had some nice stops along the islands. Our guides were great and gave us lots of sightseeing tips and recommendations throughout the day. The only reason I am not giving a five-star review is because we were not aware of what kind of boat we would be on, which was a speed boat where passengers sat horseback-style on two columns. We were traveling with younger children (ages 7 and 9), and don't think the type of boat and travel style was appropriate for kids that young, as the trip traverses on the open ocean. Would recommend that this travel style is limited to kids 10 or even 12 and up.

Great tour

Kurt_T, Apr 2026
Our tour guides were Boris and Boze. They were super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. I would recommend them to anyone visiting Split.

Awesome excursion

Lidija_B, Apr 2026
The excursion was fantastic. The guides (Antonio & Edi) were incredibly welcoming and accompanied us throughout the day, sharing interesting stories and details. The destinations we visited were wonderful, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.

Very disappointed with customer service’s response to change due to weather.

Cheryl_T, Apr 2026
I reached out to the company to change the date of the tour due to predicted weather - rain. The site states 24/7 customer support and response not true. I sent two emails during the day -no response until 10:00 pm. The response was negative. When I spoke with a person the next day, that woman would not listen and talked over me throughout the conversation. I did not want a refund, just a date change. Very dissatisfied. During the day of the original date, she sent me numerous messages trying to justify her position. Not interested, didn’t respond and will not recommend the tour company. We went with another company and book three different tours through them. Our experience with Viator was very disappointing and would not recommend them.

Fabulous experience!!

Cynthia_C, Apr 2026
Duje & Antonia were excellent guides. The islands & Blue Cave are a must see while traveling in Split!! An absolute amazing experience. He was an extremely great captain when we hit a little rough water on the way back to Split. I would highly recommend their tour!!

Brilliant Experience

Stefan_O, Apr 2026
Nicolas and Boze were brilliant throughout the tour. Although the highlight the Blue Cave, was closed they made the day special by showing us different sites and showing thoughtfulness throughout. A brilliant experience.

Yougik_p, Apr 2026
I have checked price everywhere it is same like yours but in this price they give water and some soft drinks and 1 beer each. But we dont even get single bottle water. Other place they told me it will come big boat this is very small boat. Both person was soo friendly but if company charge 110 for each then it should some drink and snacks. That's my honest review

We had a great day with Nikola and Ivan! This was the perfect way to explore the Dalmatian coast. Something new to experience on every island.

Cancelled without warning

Sophia_h, Oct 2025
The activity was cancelled due to weather. It would have been nice to receive a text showing a cancellation . Instead I was bombarded with text messages to get ready and be there by 7:20am. We got up early and rushed there. No one was there to let us know it was cancelled. An email was sent late night. Yet text messages kept repeating the trip was on. I was very disappointed the way this was handled. They should have texted us that morning and /or had someone show up to let us know it’s cancelled. We were not the only ones who showed up and waited for a tour guide to show up. The text messages might be automated but very misleading

Excellent day trip from Trogir

Cormac_R, Oct 2025
I booked this trip from Trogir as something to do during my time in Trogir. I saw a few of the islands off the Croatian mainland during this trip. The views you get during this trip are stunning. You are given sufficient time at each of the locations. The driver of the boat and guide were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, during my trip, we were unable to see the blue cave, for safety reasons. In fairness we were brought to see the green cave, which is another cave in the area. This did make up for missing the blue cave. I would highly recommend this trip, if you are staying in Trogir or Split.

Beautiful

Excursion Tuesday,...

France_B, Oct 2025
Excursion Tuesday, September 23 We didn't go to the Blue Cave. Apparently, it was closed due to the winds. We weren't given many details about it. Since the schedule had changed, I asked if we were going to Komiza and Stivina Cove, and the guide told me that her colleague had mentioned it before departure, but I hadn't heard anything except for the Blue Cave. I was very, very disappointed because those were the three things I wanted to see. Also, the guide we had was bored. It was like an audiotape was talking to us.

Wonderful day exploring different islands

Caitlin_F, Oct 2025
Wonderful day on the water. Boris and Kiara were lovely guides who ensured we were safe and comfortable. They provided us with ideas of what to do at each island, and they even took us to an extra island when we were unable to attend the blue cave due to unfavourable weather. Highly recommend to anyone travelling to Croatia!

Lovely day out

Orla_K, Sep 2025
My partner and I had a great day out, we loved the speed boat ride although it was quite long (1.5 hours to the first destination) it really was worth it. Carmen was our guide and Ante our skipper they were both lovely and so helpful. I’d definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking a nice day out

Hvar tour and 5 islands by boat

jacqui_w, Sep 2025
I loved being on the water and seeing these islands. However, even tho I am a boater, I wasn't prepared for rough seas and long distances on a rigid inflatable police boat, tightly packed in. It was rough out there today! I think they need to get better boats and on rough seas, maybe not do it. We were hitting the water hard.

5 islands tour from Split

Ieva_B, Sep 2025
Brilliant day on 5 islands tour from Split. We were looked after by Ante and Valentina, they were knowledgeable and gave us great suggestions for local cuisine. We would recommend this tour as it was interesting and fun!
