Great cooking experience in a converted convent outside of Sorrento. The chef (Michele) and hostess (Madda) were wonderful and very friendly. We learned a lot about Sorrento, southern Italy, gnocchi, tiramisu, and limoncello. A fun 4 hours! We made a meal that was enormous and delicious.

Fun, educational, delicious, relaxing and memorable, this is an experience not to be missed!!! Our hosts, Michele and Marta, were so warm and welcoming, as well as the one other couple who joined us. It was a feast with time to recline by the garden pool while sipping a limoncello spritzer. Heaven. We go home armed with recipes and skills to recreate a wonderful meal!

This was a full day from 11:30-5:30, including a garden tour at the hotel unconventional, the former convent. Our guides, Magdalena and our chef Michael were wonderful, knowledgeable and gracious. The food amazing and instruction ideal to be replicated when we are back at home

We had an incredible time with Michele and Madda for our Italian cooking class! They were very informative about the history of the dishes and provided very thorough demonstrations for each of the dishes. The class did not feel rushed at all and we had plenty of time to experiment with the cooking and make sure it was to our liking. Would definitely recommend!

This was such an amazing day. Our hosts were excellent, super passionate about, food, fresh produce and showing us a recipe that we can make at home. This was so much fun! We toured their garden, had bruschetta, made tiramisu, lemoncello and ravioli. It was the best pasta we had so far! They served us lemon spritz or aperal spritz. The chef was amazing!!! And we made new friends for life!

Amazing, amazing amazing!! Such an authentic experience with chef Michael and Madda! The tour started by us getting picked up from the meeting point by a golf cart. At the hotel, we were greeted by Madda- a sweet young and vibrant lady who took us around the garden and explained and showed us everything that grows there and brought us limoncello spritz and bruchetta. After that we were brought to the kitchen met with chef Michele (Michael ) given aprons and started working on the tomato sauce. He explained everything with so much passion and patience while Madda was there helping with the English - although we understood him perfectly. Together they worked complimentary with each other. they accomodated my allergies and switched to a different dessert, they were fun, loving and so authentic and and did it all with a smile! But the food....cant talk enough about the food! It was fresh, delicious and simple where I can follow the recipe at home. Everything was explained so easily and simply and I can't wait to go home and make it for my kids! Delicious!!! I highly recommend it!

Outstanding!! You need to do this. The host and the chef were impeccable. Extremely friendly and hospitable. The kitchen is gorgeous, the bar and working area is excellent, and the grounds outside are spectacular. We learned a lot of things, even though we are quite proficient and the food tasted delectable. Are they recommend you consider this if in Sorrento and are looking for a class!

The cooking class was fabulous. We took a tour of the garden had a drink and an appetizer prior to the cooking class. Once in the cooking class, everything was explained thoroughly they answered all of our questions and the food was superb. This was the most wonderful experience we did on our entire trip. The meeting place was in the center of the city and easy to find. From there we were escorted to the place we would do the cooking class. It was beautiful and the staff were so charming. We thought it would just be a cooking class but we also received a tour and so many snacks. We tried and smelt everything we cooked with. It was very interactive and I learned a ton. We drink wine and lemoncello spritz and had so much fun. The voice of the tour and our head chef were truly the most wonderful people. They were so kind and made it so fun. I want to recommend this to anyone who is in Sorrento. I recommend not having anything planned for after because it will run over and you don’t want to be rushed. To be able to sit in the gardens and eat your meal was a huge part of it.

The cooking class was one of the most memorable experiences we had in Italy! Federica and Antonio were incredible hosts! The setting and ambiance had a peaceful and comforting vibe. We learned all about the family Farm and learned how to make homemade gnocchi, eggplant, Parmesan, and tiramisu. We were treated to Prosecco and pesto bruschetta. Then we were able to sit down and enjoy the meal with an incredible view of Sorrento.
