Participants will meet at the José Celso Barbosa statue and then walk together to the beach for the class. Latecomers should stand with their backs to the statue, walk to the right toward the beach roundabout with the palm trees and shaded area. You’ll find us there.

About 55 people were crammed into a small section of the beach that was very rocky. No salsa music on until the end. Couldn’t hear or see the instructor because the class was extremely overbooked. Unfortunately, I do not recommend this class at all.

This was such a great experience with my family. I get nervous dancing in public and this was so much fun. It wasn’t so scary as I thought when I see professionals dance. Our instructor as god at giving instruction and made it so much fun my family and I were so surprised how well we did. Definitely a blast and would take this class again! Thank you so much for this AMAZING experience before heading back home!!

It was a great experience, whether you’re with friends or family! Make sure to bring bug spray because the bugs were attacking our legs.

We booked this experience at the last minute and did not know what to expect. Jean did an excellent job of breaking the ice and keeping us all laughing during the dance instruction. He broke the steps down in a way that was easy to follow and my partner and I enjoyed practicing the steps we learned. The beach and the sunset provided a great ambience.

Prepare to get a workout in! It was a perfect evening for dancing. The class was well paced and hit all of the basics moves that will have even the biggest wallflowers looking ready to compete on dancing with the stars. Our class was super crowded which is a blessing and a curse. Too many people didn't allow the instructor to give individual critique so it was basically a two hour Simon says game. Having a lot of people there though helped with confidence because you could see others progress and just embrace the fun and laughter.

Great intro experience to learn salsa! You are basic steps to get you going and with the added touch of being on the beach at sunset. I wish the group was smaller as it is hard to watch instructor's foot work if you are farther back and in a large group. Fun experience with your spouse, partner, or friend!

My wife and I were not in ANY of the individual videos or pictures taken. She seemed to be a bit biased towards who she was recording and taking photos of. We really looked forward to seeing ourselves in them so we could show our loved ones one of the activities we took part in while we enjoyed our time in PR. She went right in front of us with the camera pointed towards almost everybody other than us. Most couples got a video clip of the partners dancing together. It was a fun time and she was a good teacher, it was just a bit rude as far as inclusion goes.

My partner and I arrived at the meeting location on time and met with the instructor, who seemed very friendly and engaging. We were very excited for this event. There were approximately 5-6 others at the meeting location (who also were on time) before we walked as a group to the beach. As we started the activity with the basics, we noticed other participants “trickling in” and this continued 15 minutes following the start time. This caused significant disruption to the instructor as she attempted to “bring them up to speed” on what was covered at the beginning of the class. By the end of the class, there were approximately 30 participants. We felt like it was very disorganized and had to stop at times as the instructor continued to address latecomers.
We were also told at the beginning and at the end of the class that we would receive a link with photos that were taken by the instructor’s assistant. It is now 4 days following the class and no link has been sent. I’ve attempted to contact the organizer to follow up but have received no response.

Yvette was amazing. She taught it to where a 5 year old could learn it and have fun with it. Loved her teaching style and energy. Will do again when I come back on another vacation

I enjoyed myself! The location was easy to find and the sun was almost setting while we were dancing so it was beautiful! The instructor asked all of us where we were from which made us feel included.

We had a great time and our instructor was very helpful. Her teaching method is excellent. However I recommend she put her phone on do not disturb so notifications won't interrupt the music.
