Very fun and interesting to snorkel at night. Our guide was great. He provided clear instructions and gear. We talked in detail what to avoid along with descriptions of what we can hope to see. We saw everything we hoped to and more. I would recommend this tour if it sparks your interest to snorkel in the dark. It was a great experience.

Amazing tour! To see and observe the coral during the night was something! The guide was super knowledgable, she showed us crabs and even Octopus!

Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful and very nice. We felt safe and comfortable in the water with her. We had a great time.
This night snorkel was a first for us. MJ was a knowledgable guide and she showed us the reef night life and explained what the animals were doing. There was a fish we found that she didn’t know and she kindly emailed us the next day to give us the name and info. It was a unique and excellent experience and MJ kept us safe while navigating the reef and animals. Thanks for a wonderful experience!
Such a unique experience to see different wildlife including lion fish, eels, and urchins. The guide was beyond informative, happy, and warm and I appreciated how often he checked in and how direct he was that he wanted us to have fun and should we have any problems to just say so. The water is cold and I had a shorty wetsuit that worked fine but if I could have had a long one I would have preferred it.

Great experience - highly recommend doing when in Moorea. Joaquin was excellent and very good at guiding us around the reef and spotting things we wouldn't otherwise have seen (e.g. octopus, eels, shrimp etc.)

Unprecedented experience! We saw sharks, eagle rays, lion fish, urchins and octopi!!!! Highly recommend!!! The instructor was super nice and knowledgeable, a real blast
So exiting experience! It’s too cool! You have to do it!!! We saw lots of night active species and the guide is a gem, so fun and good at explaining the different animals and their role in the ocean.
This was an amazing experience. We were a little nervous snorkeling at night but our guide made us feel so comfortable. We got to learn about what we might see prior to getting in the water, which made spotting things so much easier! We spotted an octopus 🐙 and had so much fun observing it. There were countless other animals we saw as well
It was a magical experience! We loved everything about it. It was incredible to see the ocean life during the night. And we felt safe from start to finish! We absolutely recommend it.
A very unique experience, our guide showed us pictures of what to look for before going out which we found helpful, as well as what to avoid. It was our first time night snorkeling, it felt safe doing it in a group though. We saw plenty of fish, as well as nocturnal creatures like octopuses and eels. Recommend to anyone, as long as you are a good swimmer as the currents and reefs can be a challenge to navigate.
What an interesting and fun experience! Joaquin did an excellent job providing instructions for safety and guided us through the reef. We saw four eels, crabs, and lion fish. So neat to see below the water at night. Thanks Joaquin!
Great experience. Very knowledgeable and friendly guide, Vincent. We are experienced snorkelers, but this was our first night trip. Well worth it.
If you have any hesitation on whether to book this trip or not, DO IT! We had a great time last night.
We did our tour with Mai last night. He was a fantastic guide, very friendly, knowledgable, and respectful of the reef. Mai knows the reef very well and could navigate it at night in a way that I would not be able to do on my own. He also is able to spot a lot in the reef, which can be challenging if you don't know what to look for. We say a huge pufferfish, blacktip reef shark, eels, lionfish, and lots of crabs.
Mai was great! He helped us see octopus, sea turtles, and so much more! Very knowledgeable guide and very friendly.
We would highly recommend Moorea Dark Waters! It was such a cool experience to snorkel at night, and our guide made sure that we covered a lot of ground in the 1.5 hours that we were out snorkeling. We saw rays, sharks, an eel, a puffer fish, a lion fish, and a lot of reef fish. We went at a good pace, and our guide made sure that everyone stayed together. They provided wetsuits and snorkeling equipment for us to use. Night snorkeling is an experience like no other, and we would highly recommend this tour!
